Mickey’s POV
Stone’s strong arms around me and the hardness of his chest against my body brings back too many memories. I find myself relaxing into him, my head resting on his shoulder and I breathe him in, accidentally letting out a satisfied hum at his unique scent. I feel him instantly tense his grip on me, snapping me back to reality.
“Don’t,” he almost growls in the dominant way that I love.
“Sorry, I think those pills are finally kicking in. I forgot for a moment what a giant douche bag you are,” I huff.
