Hawk’s POV. The moment my healing is done, I shift back to my human form. “Dad,” I croak out. “Oh, my boy, you’re back. Everything is going to be okay,” my mum responds. She sounds so tired but relieved. I have a pang of guilt at what she must have witnessed. It’s soon replaced with anger when I remember what has been done to me. How dare they! I jump to my feet and clench my fists, breathing heavily as I try and control my rage. I can feel the veins throbbing in my neck, my wolf on the verge of taking over. “Let me out of here!” I growl. “Hawk calm down dear. Just breathe. You are safe, the pack is safe,” she says, and I see her concerned face peeking through the tiny, steel-forced window. I walk right up to the door and stare into her eyes. As her Alpha I could commander her, but I
