At the Emelest Empire
- Greetings to your Highness! - the head of my search party kneeled in front of Damien. It was time for the report and the Prince hoped he will bring good news this time...
- Speak.- Damien said with arrogance. The old knight, Lord Oscar looked at the future of his Empire and felt sick. Prince Damien was cruel, arrogant and greedy. Since the Emperor wasn't in the best health conditions, the Prince managed the Empire. Unfortunately, the Emperor himself was a greedy person as well and didn't care about the damages his son made to the people. They all still mourned the Second Empress who has been brutally murdered after giving birth to a witch... Lord Oscar gathered his courage, he said loud and clear.
- We have searched every perimeter of the Empire your Highness, but we couldn't locate her. - Damien threw the golden cup he had in his hands at the knight and screamed.
- Bunch of Incompetent Idiots! How difficult could it be to find a weak woman?! With the appearance she has specially?! Or is my Empire filled with rust heads, with patchy skin and eyes like a f*****g stray cat?!
- No your Highness! The Princess has been outcasted at a very young age, she might be already dead. - Damien grabbed the sword of the guard who stood next to him and stormed at Lord Oscar, putting the point of the sword at his throat.
- Then bring me its corpse! From today I put a bounty on her head. - Damien said.
- You come here! - he screamed at his assistant. The poor man ruched to his side like a loyal dog

- Announce to the whole Empire, whoever brings the witch to me dead or alive gets a reward of Hundred-thousand gold coins! It must be found before I leave to the Struabus Empire for the Spring Ball. We cannot have any obstacles in the way of my marriage! - the assistant bowed and ran to do his duty, while Damien dismissed Lord Oscar.
- Damn Elidi... If she wasn't born from that fling, today my life would be a lot easier. But no, that b***h must've get pregnant and bring that nuisance to life...
In the meantime...
Elidi walked through the market with Maya and tried to buy everything for her small group of followers. She used her powers to disguise herself. Her long red hair turned into a chestnut brown one, the cat-like eyes were just a pair of emerald green eyes. Her skin became pale and her freckles turned lighter as well. She wore a simple blue and white dress, similar to the maids of the castle. They were about to buy some apples when Elidi heard the announcement.
- " Dear people of Emelest Empire! Our kind and heroic Prince is turning to you for help!"
- Kind and heroic my ass... - Elidi mumbled to Maya but she shushed her.
- "Whoever brings the witch that has been tarnishing the reputation of our beloved Empire to the Prince dead or alive, that person will receive a prize of hundred-thousand gold coins! The offer is valid for two weeks from today!" - everyone started to gossip as soon as they heard the announcement and Maya grabbed Elidi's arm.
- We must disappear young Master! - Elidi gently peeled her fingers of of her arm and pat Maya's hands.
- Why should we? Maya, my disguise will last as long as we finish shopping. The kids are waiting for the fruits. So let's get everything we need and get back home before it gets dark. Okay? - Maya sighed and nodded. They turned back to the seller and finished shopping. When they were already riding in the forest heading back to the cave, a young man stood in their way stopping their horses.
- Wait! Please we need help! My master got seriously injured! - Elidi was about to get off of her horse when Maya pointed a long sword at the young man.
- Such and old trick to try to rob us. You must wake up earlier boy. Get out of our way! - Maya ordered but the boy didn't move. Elidi looked into his blue eyes and saw genuine worry in them. His red hair was darker than hers, and he was around sixteen.
- Maya, put the sword down. What's your name boy?
- Conrad. - Elidi got off of her horse and said.
- Lead the way to your Master. - Conrad nodded and ran ahead with Elidi in his heels.
- Maya, keep and eye on our shopping, I'll be back soon! - Maya looked after and smiled. - Nice to meet you again young Master...
