AURORA’S POV
I grabbed one of the sheets off the desk in front of the board, scanning over the instructions for the project. Shakespeare, some kind of report, outline. Blah, blah, blah. Pretty generic stuff that I could definitely handle on my own, without Silas’s help. I spun around, triumphantly holding the piece of paper in front of his face. “Looks like I won’t need you.”
Silas snatched the paper, looking over the paper. “Why wouldn’t you need me?”
“I can handle this by myself, without your help. So you can just sit back and get an easy grade. Boom.”
He looked up at me, a smirk on his face. “No thanks. I don’t like others to perform for me. I’m going to help.”
“You can just read my finished report.”
“Not happening. I’m helping with the project, pumpkin.”
