Shit I lost her. I stood frozen there. But I knew in my heart, I’ll find her one or the other way.

I pointedly looked at my friends.

Jake Eastwood and Mike Oliver, my best friends from childhood, they are my trusted friends, partners and allies whatever you call.

I have been with them for more than 15 years; well they know me in and out.

Since my parents death I trusted only limited peoples around. I trust them to my death and vice versa.

To summarize about them,

Jake is a Technical geek, he is well versed, actually well advanced in all kinds of advanced technology around the world. He has invented few things which are spoken worldwide. He has won many awards but he never takes it to his heart. A down to earth person. He is one of my business associate who deals with all my technical support and business plans. He has a round face which makes him look like a nerd but he is actually a nice person. He is kind of brother to me.

Whereas Mike, a complete jerk. A bad ass. He makes everyone around him happy. He is an expert to make everyone around him, whatever may be the circumstances he knows to make everyone feel good. He is selfless, naughty and caring. He is also one of my business partners who takes care of well you know People and business delegates. He always likes to deal with people. He knows how to make me laugh.

These are the two peoples who make me to feel alive in my lonely world.

“So, what are you doing here making weird faces?” Jake asked me looking for something in my face.

“Looking at you jerk face, I think you have done something naughty”, Mike chirped.

I just laughed at the expression of Mike. He is a total asshole.

“Is everything okay?” Jake suddenly whispered.

“Yes, everything is good Jake, it’s just I saw a girl” I whispered in a small tone so that my friends could here.

“What? Is she cute? Is she here? Where is she? Are you falling for her? The great Adam Tyler, CEO of Tyler Groups is falling hard. f**k me lord” Mike teased me.

I snapped at him, “You know me, she is just someone. But I couldn’t resist myself”

Jake, “Did you catch her?”

“No, she left before I could catch. Two assholes interfered my way towards her”, I said sarcastically.

“Ahhhhhh look here. So do you know anything about her, I’ll find her for you” Mike said in a husky tone.

“No, I’ll find her. Now get your ass here. What are you guys doing here?” I asked pointing them.

“You know why we are here; the werewolves know we are here. Do you think they will threaten us?” Jake said with his face suddenly hardened.

“If they want war, we will show who we are” Mike snapped at us.

“Wait it’s not the time for war. No one is gonna fight. You know why we are here. We need to find him soon” I pointed out them.

Jake and Mike looked straight into my eyes. They knew why I’m here.

We have just shifted here to find the killer of my parents. Even I have death threats but I want to find them. I don’t know whether they are in pack or whatever means but I need to find him. And make them pay for they did to me.

I’m not gonna stop until that. I’ll show them hell.

“So what’s your plan” Mike looked at me for some answers.

I know it’s not easy to find them; I just got information from my trusted source that they live here in this town. We need to wait to find them and make a move. It’s not a normal town; these peoples consist of majority of werewolves and mix of some humans. Humans don’t know our existence. We cannot disturb human life, it creates more complications.

“Let’s wait until they make a move” I sighed.

“Are you going to accept the invite Adam?” Jake suddenly asked me.

I breathed out loud. The Alpha of this territory has invited, a so called friendly invite for his daughter’s birthday celebration who has turned 16. I don’t know why people celebrate their birthdays. I hate to celebrate my birthday after my parent’s death.

The Alpha has invited us so that he could introduce me to their pack as a friendly manner. I know why he has invited us, It’s to warn us that they have a pack and we can’t make a move on them. But I’m not afraid of him or his pack my only thought or aim is to avenge my parent’s death.

I know we need to make the presence since he has personally send us a invite, but how can I make them understand it’s not them whom I’m searching. Huff, whatever I need to go there.

“We need to make our presence” I said narrowing my eyes.

“Are you sure?” Jake’s face showed mixed feelings.

“I need to see those hot puppies, let us make a visit to them and seduce them with our eyes” Mike beamed so bright.

We laughed at him. “We will asshole. Jake we need to go; the Alpha will be expecting us”

“If we have any problem, you people know what to do” I said suddenly my face hardened.

“Between Mike never manipulate peoples there. Don’t try to do anything stupid. I’ll just kick your ass, you fuckard” I teased him.

He knows what I mean.

Ya you know Mike has the power to manipulate people. A great gift to the wrong person.

Yes we are Vampires we have special powers, as an inborn traits. Our power grew stronger day by day.

We creatures, hybrids and whatever so called exists have some powers.
