"Hello Fay, where have you seen him,"My heart was heavy asking for this. I didn't know what do do. What if it is really true that he is here in Moscow.

Has he come to torment me or something like that? What he did is really unforgivable. He gave up on me.

Bella gave me that nod to go on and probe about Tony.

"I saw him at the bus station, he was boarding a bus."Fay added.

"Are you sure, besides, what were you going to do at the bus station,"It pissed me that he had come without checking on me. He was leaving for the second time.

He knew clearly that I was in this University yet he did nothing. He was around and he never come to ask for forgiveness. Who knows, maybe I would have forgiven him.

"Trust me Penélope. I know him. We were in the same High School. That was him Penny. I had gone to the bus station to book Nicky and I a ticket for we are leaving in two days,"She was crystal clear about what she was staying.

"Oh, I see,"I felt my heart sink as tears formed as the slit ends of my eyelids.

"Was he alone,was he happy?"I couldn't help asking that.

"Calm down. I don't know the dits. I only saw him from a far,"She countered.

"Okay,"I never knew what to say anymore as tears flowed down my rosy cheeks uncontrollably like water from a faulty tap.

Why did Tony show all that love to me when he knew clearly that he would leave? How could he be that selfish?

"Aurora has organised swimming for the girls," Fay said after a while.

"Yaay,will be there,"I forced a psychic conversation though I was devastated.

"Please don't tell me you are crying because of a guy who left you,"Bella begged.

"He left, again,"I scoffed and wiped the tears with my handkerchief.

I felt as if someone had spread gasoline over my heart and set fire on it. The pain from it was excruciating.

"Why do you allow him to hurt you this much?"She asked holding my hand and looking at my eyes to find the truest of all my answers.

"Till I learn my lesson,"I tried not to cry but I kept crying like a baby. I felt really bad that I could not control my feelings.

"Don't settle in love my dear.Don't wait for someone who is not coming back P. Don't love someone who leaves you."She advises and moved closer to pull me into a warm and tight embrace.

"Let him go Penelope. Don't think that this is a fairytale abd that at the end you will be together. Look for your happiness,"She added.

I couldn't help but hug her more tightly now that she had spoken sense to me.

"Thank you for being here for me Bella,"I prattled and she gave me a nod.

"If I leave now will I be a bad friend?"She asked pleadingly.

"No,I will just hang here for a while before going back to the room."I smiled in response. She had done alot for me already by being here.

"See you tomorrowat the pool,"She gave me the final hug and walked away.

Just then my phone blinked and it managed to shift my attention.

I knew that Bella would not love  the fact that I went with  his boyfriend for a date. However, I chose to go with the knowledge that i would draw the lines to our relationship.

This was not my first time doing this. I did this to Evans Moses back in High School when he wanted me yet I knew clearly that my best friend had fallen for him.

That night

8:30pm

"Please lend me your brown body on dress so that I can pair it with my black wedges,"I begged Aurora.

"Why are you doing this P. You  know very well that the dress  is my favourite,"Aurora complained.

"Come on sister,you have tons of bodycon dresses,"Fay said rolling her eyes. Just lend her the one she has asked for.

"Don't talk her into that Fay. It is fine really. Aurora, if you don't want to lend me the dress, I will just put on my black tank top, black jeans and black canvas to the date I am supposed to go,"I smiled forcefully.

"Who does that! I was kidding,you can have the dress,"Aurora finally agreed

"Come over here and sit, I will do your make up,"Fay called me to the dressing mirror.

"I will do your hair,"Aurora volunteered.

"You guys are my guardian angel,"I jested as a broad smile etched across my face such that my molars were showing.

"We got you b***h,"Aurora stated while giggling.

"I got you w***e,"Fay added.

"Let us make a pact that we will always  maintain the p***y before d***s rule,"I suggested putting on the dress.

"Always,"Fay agreed

We all looked at Aurora who did not have the idea of what we are talking about.

"What?" She asked biting her lips.

Fay threw a pillow at her playfully.

"Looka like you are under a love spell with that Henry of yours,"I stated adamantly with a smirk playing on my lips.

"Whatever,"She rolled her eyes and continued texting.

8:45pm that night.

"You look so dashing."Max commented as soon as we stepped out of the room after he picked me up.

"Let us just go."I told him and walked over to his car.

"Can't I utter a complement?"He asked running his right hand through his hair.

I pretended not to care but low key I admired how he was nearly dressed. The tuxedo suit made him look stylish and more handsome.

This is wrong, I shouldn't be looking at my best-friend's boyfriend like this.

A pin-drop silence was maintained and it just me that he might be pissed with what I had stated earlier.

"Don't create a mountain out of it,"I advised. buckling my seatbelt.

"I hope you will enjoy the night,"He placed his hand over mine but I pulled away immediately.

Starbucks is among the posh hotels in Moscow. It had anmple parking and reserved places for friends,couples and families.Their food was at another level of delicious. You could also die to take a photo there because of their good garden.

I never knew that Max was this rich to afford such kind of place, at least Bella never mentioned it. He is clearly more than what meets the eye.

"I think of buying a sports car this summer,"He said over dinner.

"That's good,"I said and then took a bite of chicken nuggets.

"What type of cars do you like?"He asked me.

"Merc and Audi,I guess. I am not that type of girl who is into cars ,"I stated and he frowned.

"Okay, so tell me about your past relationship,"He inquired before he sipped from his wine glass of dry wine.

"It was one sided one,"I frowned.

"He did not treat you right didn't he?"He asked clenching his fists.

I give him a nod to imply that what he was saying was true.

"Son of a b***h!"He cursed his eyes flushing red.

"So, talking of relationships,what do you take Bella for?"I implored.

He blinked severally pretending that he did not get the question.

"She is just a friend,"He sighed.

"Do you like have other feelings for her?"I insisted this time looking straight into his eyes.

"No,"He said with a smirk.

"I don't love her,"I wished that he wouldn't have said that.

"Why say that yet you made love to her that Fresher's bash night,"I said through gritted teeth.

He didn't deny, instead he looked shocked and that was crystal clear to me that what Bella said was the truth.

"Did she tell you that?"He asked.

"You can't answer a question with another question moron,"I felt anger bubbling up in my intestines. I was losing my patience with him.

"You can't fool me Max. People have made a fool of me several times and I am not going to allow you to fool me,"I did not realise I was shouting till I saw people staring at me.

I suddenly felt the urge to breath in fresh air and that is when I left his table.

I did not care if he followed or not. What I knew is that I needed to take a cab so as to go back to my room. Being here in the first place was a mistake.

"I thought you would not be back soon,"Aurora chanted immediately she opened the door.

Netflix was really competing with Henry to be her baby. She was into Netflix.

"Let's talk about it tomorrow,please."I said removing my shoes and throwing myself to bed.

In no time, I was soundly asleep.

"I love your bikini,"Fay said as we were waiting for Bella and Aurora to join us in the swimming pool.

"Tony loved it too,"I don't know why I have to mention him every damn time.

"How many times have I told you to get over him,"Bella warned.

"Let's dive in,"Aurora begs so as to clear our argument.

"One two three,"Fay advised.

They all count, ONE, TWO, THREE. They had already dived by the time realised that I did not dive with them.

"What are you still staring at?"Fay asked when they finally noticed.

"I have just seen Saviour. Let me go and thank him,"I chanted and started walking to where I had seen him.

I had not walked for long when Bella called my name. She was following me. So, I had to wait for her.

Her slap caught me off guard. I felt a sharp pain on my cheeks.

"What the hell Bella!"

Before I could ask her what was the problem was, she showed me the picture of us. The selfie I took with Max at Starbucks. f**k he shouldn't have posted.

"What the f*****g hell is wrong with you b***h?"Bella was practically breathing fire.
