PENELOPE'S POV
The fresher's bash posters are all over the university premises. Katy Perry was the invited musician. Who can miss such an event. To add icing to the sugar, there was also another suprise artist. Last year they surprised them with Rihanna who knows this time? It might be Beyonce.
This thoughts criss-crossed my mind as I headed to my room.
I really don't know what is wrong with me. I have never mastered the art to knock the door before I walk in. Being raised the only daughter has its side effects.
After turning the door knob and finding the door open, my face turned red in embarrassment when I caught Aurora kissing a ginger haired man who was shirtless for that matter.
"Ups!I am so sorry,"I apologized not knowing if I could walk out or stay standing by the door. I swear it was really awkward and I wanted to have that power of invisibility. In the end, I remained standing there as if I had been bitten by a freeze bug.
Aurora was looking away and she seemed irritable. Thus, the ginger haired man spoke up first.
"Hi, just come in. I am Henry Scott by the way."He jested throwing his shirt on.
"Sorry for interrupting, I am Penelope Blue, Aurora's roomate"I arched my lips upwards and moved closer so as to shake his hands.
"He was just leaving,"Aurora mumbled and pecked Henry before allowing him to walk our.
"See you soon Penelope,"Henry's perfect voice eased to my ears.
Once he left, I removed my shoes and walked over to sit on my bed as I waited for Aurora to scold me. I honestly deserve that.
"I shouldn't have bulged in like that,"I apologized when a pin-drop silence between us developed after Henry left.
"Never mind, kiss is not such a big deal. For Christ sake, people kiss anywhere"She laughed and finally, I could feel at ease.
"Are you accompanying him to the fresh men bash?"I implored
"Of course. Henry is my boyfriend by and we have dated for a very long time,"She recalled smiling.
My phone blinked and I jumped to read the text right away.

Max is not accompanying me.

I quickly replied.

"I am heading out for a while,"I don't know why I keep telling her everything.
"Do you have a date or something?"She asked when I changed to a short skater skirt and a vest top.

Bella was already seated when I got there. I was practically running on my way there. She was my best friend for now and I had to be there for her.
"What did he exactly say?"I quivered when I took the opposite seat on the table she had chosen.
"He told me that he is not in the mood,"She quivered with tears forming at the slit end of her eyelids.
"Its okay. You don't have to worry. I am here for you,"I assured her with a smile.

"Text him the time and place,"I giggled saying this for she pretended not to chicken out but she had chickened out.

"Let us go and shop for our outfit. We have to look so sexy tonight,"She insisted word by word.
