Chapter 14Jordan hadn’t lied to Mr. Fordham about what he looked for in a man, although he’d denied he had a specific one in mind—Kent to be exact. On the flight back to Denver he’d thought long and hard about it and the major problem which was that Kent might not think of him as more than a friend. Only one way to find out, he decided, so Monday evening as he was getting ready to leave his office, he made a call. “Are you doing anything tonight?” “Not really,” Kent replied. “Why?” “Feel like catching a movie? I promise to get you home early, since you work tomorrow.” Kent chuckled. “I think I can survive missing an hour or two of sleep if it comes down to it, so sure, I’d like that.” “Good.
