That it would be ignored in favor of political s**t or sports, or the latest entertainment scandal?” If he’d thought about it, that was exactly what he would have hoped—and he’d have known it wouldn’t happen. The old saying ‘If it bleeds, it leads’ was true, especially when it involved a possible murder by the kidnapper, even if that had happened two years previously.
He wondered if Jordan had watched the news. He thought it was a tossup when he heard the reporter say, “Jordan Quinn, the lead detective for the Nancy Moore case, has declined to be interviewed about his part in rescuing Ms Ryland, Thomas Pope’s most recent victim.”
