Alpha Benedict sat with the other clan Alphas and council members as they waited on news concerning the Northern Pack and their Alphas.

The North American werewolves had several packs but the Northern Pack was the strongest.

They weren't the largest Pack but they were still the most feared Pack because unlike other Packs that consisted of just werewolves,the Northern Packs consisted of a variety of shapeshifters which meant that they had several Alphas who reported to Alpha Leo and his wife,Luna Aurelia who was a pure blooded Werelycan.

To further complicate matters,while other Alphas had settled in the woods and formed their territory around forests,the Northern Pack was located in the mountain areas that was later discovered to be a mineral mine.

The grounds were filled with rubies,diamonds, emeralds and since werewolves had the strength of at least five humans, Mining had never been an issue for them.

Not only was the Northern Pack the strongest,they were also the richest.

They refused to relate with other Packs because their Alphas over the years thought that the other Packs did not live by the code.

Due to this refusal to grant partnerships with the other Packs,the hatred for the Northern Pack had grown over the years.

And for years,the other North American Packs had planned and plotted how to erase the Northern Pack from existence and take all that belonged to them.

However,the strength of the Pack had always scared them,an Alpha that was a legendary fighter , a Luna that was a Lycan and led her own pack of Lycans.

A Beta that was part Warlock and part wolf and a Gamma that was a fox was unheard of so no one had wanted to test their strength.

But,the Alpha's daughter had scared them even more,they had heard different stories of what she could do.

She was a child born from a pure Alpha wolf bloodline and a pure Lycan bloodline.

Their scouts had told of how she had picked the best of both of her parents and how she intended to continue in the path of her parents.

The other Alphas had come to a unanimous decision that they could not allow this girl live and grow to take over the Pack,if she did,it would be nearly impossible for them to ever take the Northern Pack as theirs.

Luna Chrissy,Alpha Benedict's wife smiled slowly as she once again thought of the Northern Pack.

She had been there once as a young girl when her father had tried to get Alpha Leo to take her as a wife.

She and her father had been sure that no man would be able to resist her beauty.

When they had arrived at the Pack,she had immediately been in awe.

It looked like a city made out of jewels,everywhere was breathtaking especially where the Alpha and Luna lived and oh,the jewelry.

The jewelry the women wore had enticed her so much but she had her father had been quite embarrassed when a woman even more beautiful than Chrissy had come to greet them with Alpha Leo.

Alpha Leo had been married for years and had not deemed it important to tell the other Alphas.

Chrissy had never been more jealous in her life.

She has always been proud,she was beautiful,an Alpha's daughter and rich but here,she was nothing compared to Aurelia whose beauty enthralled even her,her white hair which was a signature look of pure blooded Lycans intimidated her and her body that had been adorned with Jewelry and silk caused her to hate Aurelia more than anything in the world.

She had sworn then that she would take all that belonged to Aurelia.

It had taken years of convincing her husband whom she had married because he had the largest Pack but finally everything was happening.

Twelve packs had come together to raid the Northern Pack,there was no way they would survive that.

Come morning,she would be Luna of the Northern Pack.

"What's taking them so long?",She muttered as she looked around at the other Alphas and Lunas who all seemed constipated.

"Taking care of an entire Pack requires work and time,you should be patient",Her husband, Alpha Benedict told her.

She rolled her eyes and kept quiet, deciding that she had waited so long so she could wait one more night.

Suddenly,the doors were thrown open and her Pack's Gamma ran in, everyone immediately turned to him.

"They are here!!",He announced.

"Then,let them in!",She yelled as she got on her feet to see properly,she could not wait to hear the good news.

The doors opened again and some men and women trooped in,their faces were all still covered.

A man stepped forward along them.

"Where's John?",Alpha Benedict asked as he looked around for his Beta who had led this mission.

"Where are my sons?",Another Alpha demanded jumping on his feet.

"My gamma isn't here!",Another said.

"My Beta and my Delta soldiers! None of them are here!",Someone else yelled.

The man that stood at the forefront tore the cloth that covered his face away and fell on his knees.

"Alphas,Lunas , everyone you see here are the only survivors of the attack",He announced.

The hall immediately erupted in shouting.

"What do you mean you are the only survivors? Every of the twelve packs brought fifty of their best warriors , the people here are barely up to twenty,how is that possible??!",Another Alpha, Alpha Eloy yelled.

"Wait...did you at least succeed in your mission?'',Luna Chrissy yelled,the death of Luna Aurelia and her family was all that she cared about.

The man shook his head.

"It was all a blur,we split ourselves so that there were warriors at every Pack house and no chance to be at the Alpha's house but it still didn't work",He lamented softly.

Another warrior,a woman with red hair tore the cloth on her face off.

Chrissy recognized her as an impressive delta,right now she looked more scared than impressive.

"They fought like beasts",She whispered but everyone could hear properly with their wolf hearing.

"We succeeded in killing Luna Aurelia…",the man that had taken off his mask earlier interjected.

"Yesss,finally some good news!!!",Luna Chrissy yelled before he could finish his sentence.

"Chrissy,please let us hear all they have to say first", Alpha Benedict said to his wife.

"We killed Luna Aurelia but lost a large number of men in the process, Alpha Leo went through them like they were pieces of tissue paper",he said.

"Is Alpha Leo still alive?",Another Alpha asked.

The man nodded.

"At first,it was a fight but after Luna Aurelia died,he simply went through them like they were offering their lives to him",he replied, sounding distant.

The council immediately broke out in commotion.

"Alpha Leo is alive?!?"

"What was the point of the attack if Alpha Leo wasn't killed?!"

"He'll come after each and everyone of us to avenge his mate,that is a given,any average man would do that,not to talk of an Alpha of the Northern Pack".

To control the council, Alpha Benedict resorted to banging heavily on the table before him till everyone stopped speaking and eventually turned to him.

"Where is the man that led the raid? Beta John, he couldn't have been killed off so easily", Alpha Benedict mentioned.

He had grown up with John and knew what John was capable of,he had entrusted him with this mission because he was the best representation of an Alpha there.

"I don't know,I didn't see him,I was with the group that went after the Alpha and his Luna",the man replied.

"I...I saw him",a voice sounded from behind the group.

The group opened up so that the person with the voice could step forward.

A woman with bloodshot eyes stepped forward,she looked quite shaken.

"I was part of the group that was supposed to take care of the daughter and the rest of the Alpha's pack house",She murmured.

"Get on with it then,what happened?!?", Luna Chrissy yelled.

"Beta John said it would be easier if it was just him that went after the daughter,he wanted to finish it while she was asleep",She whispered.

"I saw it happen,the moment he stepped in to her room and held the blade over her,her arm shot forward, changing as she reached for him",She explained.

"What do you mean changing? Do you mean that she turned when she saw him?!", Alpha Eloy asked,unable to understand what was being said.

The woman shook her head hastily.

"No,no,that's not what happened. She didn't turn,it was just her hand,one moment it was human and the next,it looked exactly like a paw with claws!",She rushed out.

"That's impossible,werewolves can't change parts of their body at will,that's simply unheard of",Another Alpha commented.

Luna Beatrice, Alpha Eloy's wife cleared her throat.

"We can't be sure of what is possible and not possible, remember that this child is half wolf and half Lycan, we've heard that she could do strange things,what if this was one of it?",She asked quietly.

Everyone began to murmur again until Luna Beatrice again cleared her throat and turned to the woman.

"Tell us what else happened",She requested.

The woman nodded.

"That was all really. One moment,he was almost stabbing her and the next,her claws where around his neck, lifting him up,she growled at him before she killed him and I saw him surrender,I'm sure of it,he gave her his neck in surrender",She said.

Another round of murmuring broke out.

When wolves gave their necks or surrendered,it was usually because they recognized the authority.

A Beta would only do that to his Alpha,yet John had done that for a child, Alpha Benedict was silently fuming.

The woman once again began to speak in her low tones.

"I saw her again,the Alpha's daughter,I saw her on the third floor. We had stationed fifteen of our best warriors there to make sure that Alpha Leo didn't leave the Alpha house. Alpha Leo didn't even pay them any mind,he simply walked past them and left his daughter to kill them all and by the goddesses,I've never seen someone enjoy killing but I could just tell that she enjoyed it,she would break their necks and pull out their hearts, smearing the blood from it all over her body,it seemed like a scene from a horror movie",She finished as she began to shed tears.

Suddenly, Alpha Eloy got up from his seat,his Luna followed as well.

"What do you think you're doing?", Alpha Benedict asked.

Alpha Eloy chuckled,"Didn't you hear what she said? Your Beta should have died a more honorable death but he not only died at the hands of a child,he also surrendered before he died. If she could easily do that with a Beta,how much harder do you think it would be to kill one of us?? I'm going back to my pack,I must get everyone ready",He muttered as he left, followed closely by his wife.

Alpha Benedict turned to his wife.

"We should prepare too…"

"We should prepare to meet the Alpha's daughter".
