CHAPTER 14
The warriors were soon left behind and half an hour later all signs of their footprints had gone. Kevin saw a valley in the range of hills that now towered up on the left and said that it appeared that this was where the tribe had come from. The road itself ran parallel to these hills across the continuous plain. The only other change was that more vegetation grew, mainly tussock type grass and small thorny bushes. Again, there appeared to be no intelligent creeper or trees as they travelled further along the lonely road.
The new couple took everything in their stride and made no comment about the car or clothes that probably would appear to be somewhat extreme to them. Lisa began to relax and talk about more than what had immediately happened and her baby who was now sleeping
