ELLA'S POV
My entire body wracked with pain, my eyelids felt like molten copper rods were smudged over it. Pain shot through my lower abdomen, and my head felt heavy, like I was carrying the weight of the entire world.
‘Ella, Ellaaa.’
A tiny voice urged me to get out of bed. It took me a few minutes to realize the words had come from my subconscious, and it was my wolf.
I shifted slowly on the bed, which was fluffy in the perfect way. Slowly, my eyes pried open and I immediately shut it as the golden light of the chandelier pierced through my eyes.
“You’re awake…” A soft masculine voice seeped into my ears. With my eyes still closed, I turned to the other side. Holding my breath, I slowly forced my eyes open. My eyes scanned the entire room, it was different from my suite.
