The Project

Avery POV

"No way!" I exclaimed in disbelief

"Yes.. way!" Ali said smirking at me.

Let me tell you what happened why I overreacted.

My bestfriends came an hour ago for our project. Hanna told me I needed to approach the captain player of our school soccer team and ask him to be part of the project we will be doing or just ask the whole basketball team. I need to flirt a little bit. Then Ali suggested that I need to distribute flyers like a campaign style with my picture on it and put the reason for this campaign.

"wahhh... seriously guys?!" Raising my eyebrows on them. "Don't you think I can do that?" No way..!" I said while they are grinning at me..

"wahaha!" both of them are laughing and that made my eyebrows arch.

"what's funny?!." I asked them with wide eyes..

"..we're just messing with you Av.." Ali said. "I know that you can't do that and we just want to see your reaction"

"Haha! you're face reaction looks hilarious." Hanna said while her forefinger pointing at me and the other hand is holding her stomach.

Then that hits me. So they are only joking around. grrrr.. These bitches really get on my nerves.

"How dare you! You both will pay for this.." I grabbed the huge pillow I have in the corner and smacked it on them and a loud bang echoed in the room. They both fell hard on the floor which was my turn to laugh..

"hahaha! You guys are cute. Look at you.." I am laughing at them because their positions are kinda funny. Hanna's face is on the facade while Ali's is on Hanna's butt..

"You better run or else you're dead!" Ali threatened me while she's on her feet facing me.

"hehehe you guys are ridiculous." I said and jumped on the other side of the room near the bathroom so I could hide if ever.

"hahaha you started it." I said.

"yah yeahh." Hanna said while slowly walking towards my right side and Ali is also walking on my left side so they can corner me. It's no luck that I could run through the bathroom now.

".and we will going to finish it." Hanna continued.

I gulped because I know what they are thinking now.

"oh no! No! dont!" I said while my hands were blocking them. As if I could win over them.

Then seconds later...

"wahaha. hahahaha. stop..! pls enough.." Both of them are tickling me. Ali tickled my side while Hanna tickled my neck. Tickling those parts of my body are my weaknesses. I am still laughing and I felt my eyes are on tears.

After a while, we ended up lying on my bed catching our breath.

"So Ali," I asked. "Hmm?" she said. "Did you have guys to help you now? Hanna said you already asked guys to help you with from the swimming team. Did they accept your request?"

"yeah Ali, what's the status of that?" Hanna asked.

"I still needed two more guys and I think I can ask my cousin and one of his friends to help me." she answered.

"What bout you Hanna?" Ali asked.

"I called RJ about it after I received Ave's text. Good thing she called because I totally forgot and then he agreed to help me. He will tell his friend and the gang to help me as well but since we have 2 months for that we are still thinking for the date when to do it. We still have plenty of time." Hanna said smiling.

"good for you guys.. guess I am the only one who does not have any boys recruited yet." I sighed frustratedly.

"owwe Ave... What friends are for? I asked RJ that I need more than 8 boys cause I have friend who needs help also. It's not that I do not want to help Ali. I just know she already asked someone so that left me to help you because you are so naive of everything and I think you need to come out of your shell Av." Hanna said.

Btw, RJ is Hanna's current boyfriend. They are dating for 2 months now. I am not really sure if it's serious or just one of her pasttime boyfriends.

"Hanna is right Av, you need to step outside of your comfort zone. Women at our age already lose their virginity, wild and free.."Ali said while looking at me seriously.

"hehe. but not me darling." I replied.

"okayyy as you say! But for now.. Let's not think of the project. Let's just enjoy the night. I want to drink and you still have the wine right?" Hanna asked.l.

"oh right!. let's drink.." I said excitedly.

"Oh yah!" they both said in unison.

We immediately fixed the bed and the pillows that were on the floor. Then we headed downstair afterwards.

We bumped with my brother right in the stairs as he is going up while us going down.

"Hi Chris!" Hanna chirps.

"Hi, you guys going out?" Chris asked us.

"Nope. We're planning to drink wine." I answered.

"Okay! Enjoy then.. and goodnight!" Chris said as he continued walking upstair.

"You can join us if you want." Ali invited him.

He stopped and turned around to face us. "I have something to do. Maybe some other time?. You guys just enjoy and be quiet." He said and put a little smile on his face.

I know he is just avoiding Ali at some point.

"Alright. Goodnight." Ali replied

"Goodnight Chris." Hanna waved her hand.

She looks funny. I grinned at her.

"What? You're scary." She asked me when she noticed I still grinned at her.

"You look funny over there. Goodnight Chris." I imitated her voice and the way she waved her hand.

We are now going to where the wines are.

"You weirdo! Of course, I have to greet him. He is your brother."

"But you seem so smitten over him.. wait! You like my brother?" I teased her. I know she doesn't. I just can't help it. I just am trying to get a reaction from Ali hoping she would get jealous.

"eeew!!! Avery, I know your brother is one hot a of guy but not in my dead body that I will going to like him. He is not my type! In fact, I have Alex." Her eyes are just like day dreaming.

"Yeah! Whatever!" I rolled my eyes at her.

"How about you Ali.. do you like my brother.?" I asked her directly because I can not see any hint from her reaction.

"Why that ends on me now? You know what let us just drink." She replied.

"Yeah! What kind of question is that Av?" Hanna asked.

I shrugged. "Nothing."
