Hang Over

James POV

"oh fudggge!" still lying on bed while im holding my head massaging my temple.

I woke up with hang over from last night's party. It was Patrick's party. He is one of my childhood friends.

I checked the time and it's passed 10 o'clock in the morning. I walked to the bathroom and did the morning routine.

After that, I ate bread and drank medicine to ease my headache then headed to the couch slouching while thinking of what happened last night.

ring.. ring.....

I heard the telephone ringing beside next to the flower vase.

"hello? who's this?" I said lack of interest, as I picked up the phone.

I am not in the mood due to the hang over. Darn! I drunk hard last night.

"dude, it's me Patrick, why aren't you answering your phone.? I can't reach you there so I tried here." He sounded so worried.

"I left it in my room. What's the matter?" I asked him.

"dude! I f****d up.. I don't know what to do. I just can't tell this to Angel." Patrick said on the other line sounding scared.

"dude, tell me what happened so we know what to do.. k?" I said.

I heard a long sigh before he responded.

"It was about last night. I was waiting for Angel til midnight but she did not come to the party. She said there's an urgent thing she needed to do. So i kinda get mad at her and we fought but in the end I said sorry.

It's the liquor that made me unreasonable that time. When our call ended I went back to the house and started to clean the messes and I thought everyone already left the house but to my surprised I saw Mica and she seduced me! I don't know man.. That's the least I remembered.

I was drunk and frustrated and then that's all I really remembered then I woke up seeing Mica in bed with me and we're naked. She said I have to take responsibility of what happened or else she will tell her parents and mine that I raped her...!" he said in a frustrated tone.

"oh shoot!!" I uttered. "you really f****d up now man.."

"yeah. I know but I can not remember anything. I didn't know if I really touched her."

"You better think hard. You need to remember it and you need to tell Angel bout it." I told him

"That's the problem dude. I can't. It will hurt her dude. What if she'll break up with me? ..I really don't know now.." Patrick said in confused and afraid tone

"dude.. sure you'll hurt her but you have to tell her what happened and what you remembered. Angel is a considerate person. She does not assume right away.. what if Angel will know bout it from others or worse from Mica? I think tht would not be nice at all." I reasoned out.

"I don't know dude..," I heard him cursing after saying it.

"wait... dude..! I remember something." I told him in a higher voice to get his attention from the other line.

I know he's not listening now.. he's just kept on cursing and telling he's f****d up.

Then I heard him stopped murmuring. "you still have security camera in your bedroom right?" I continued.. "or you removed it?"

"Oh jeez...man! You're right..!!" He responded excitedly. "My mind is pre occupied and my head is still aching. I even forgot about it."

I even heard him utter a relief sigh..

"you better check that now but if you really did something to her. You should tell it to Angel." How did he forget about it? I thought.

"I will. Thanks a lot dude.." He replied.

"no problem.." I said to him hoping luck will be on his side this time.

"Bye, see you at school tomorrow then." Patrick said then he ended the call.

After talking with Patrick, I thought of Mica.. She is the slut I know. She flirted with all the boys whom caught by her attention of course that included me.

But I never let her took advantage of me. There's a girl that I am always watching from afar. I know she never knew I am stalking her. Although, sometimes I almost get caught when she felt someone was eyeing on her. But I instantly hid or covered my face with my book.

Speaking of her, I need to check if she's online. Hoping she has new photos uploaded. I might sound creepy but I have some of her photos saved in my phone.

There's just specific folder where I saved her photos and I made sure no one can access it. I put password that no one can think of.

I am now looking at her new photos uploaded on her social acct. She just uploaded her photos 2 hrs ago., she is so beautiful. Anything she wears surely looks good on her.

"oh babe.. what you do to me now.." I said looking at her photos. My mood lightens and I notice I am also smiling looking at her photos..

"I must be crazy now.." I am now talking to myself whilst shaking my head.

It's been 3 months since the day I first saw her passing by near my classroom.

I did not plan of attending in class that day so I just spent the whole time looking outside the window and watching students passing by.

Until I saw her. I thought I saw a goddess. She's so beautiful, her long blonde hair dancing in the wind while she walked like no one is around.

I was watching her and her angelic face is so captivating then I looked at her lips that has a smile on it then when she dropped something on floor her lips parted and jeez that's the time I'm about to stand up from where I was sitting to help her and kiss her till she begs me to stop.

But then I realized I was with my two friends who also noticed her. We are known as the campus heartthrobs. Well we are 8 in total but the others have different subjects so only 3 of us have the same--namely: Jay, he is in the second row in front of me and Derek, who sits beside me that time. Jay looked back at me as if saying If I saw the girl who just passed by then Derek said, "dude, she's hot. I haven't seen her here before. Wow!"

I told them to back off since she's mine. They just laughed at me.

I always went to class hoping she'll pass by again but it didn't happen. I even tried searching for her but can't find her.

Until 2 weeks had passed, I saw her in the gym watching basketball with her friends. I saw other boys also keeping an eye on her that made me mad. I don't want someone looking at my girl. I am on the edge of punching the guy who sat next to mine because he said he will ask her number and be his girl. But another nerd boy who I guessed his friend told to him to back-off.

"back-off bro.! You are not worth her time. She does not entertain boys." the lanky nerd 2 said to the guy.

That made me curious so I carefully listened to them.

"whoah you know her?! Man, why didn't you tell me." the curly hair nerd 1 replied.

"I just met her one time but no boys get around with her since she's so aloof and her brother is protecting her." Nerd 2 said.

"who's her brother. I think I can handle him.. leave it to me.." Nerd 1 haughtily said.

"ooh no you cant! I tell you bro.." Nerd 2 said shaking his head.

Then he leaned on the Nerd 1's ear and said something. I saw the Nerd 1 paled and gripped his hand. "You're right bro. I cant afford to loose my degree." Nerd 1 sighed in defeat.

I was wondering what the lanky nerd told him which caused him to be afraid of.

Nevertheless, that made me feel at eased but nothing can stop me from seeing her..

...even her brother whoever he is.
