The darkness started fading away, bringing me closer to the rhythmic beeping sound. It was getting louder and faster with every passing second. What was it? It's f*****g annoying. Did Iris change her alarm clock ringtone? If she did it was definitely the wrong choice.
I tried to open my eyes to shut it down but my head hurts like I had drank a gallon of whisky. What the hell was that? Did I pass out? Veronica once challenged me in a drinking game till we both were out cold, but I don't remember being with her before and since she's pregnant we definitely didn't drink together.
I gathered all of my strength and focused on lifting my eyelids. And it was next to impossible. What the hell was wrong with me?!
