Not knowing what to do or how to help her I crouched down beside her and put my hand on her back.
"Ami, what's wrong? Are you hurt?" - I asked her, but she didn't answer me.
She was panting hard, with shut eyes and clenched teeth. I started rubbing her back hoping it would sooth her pain wherever it was coming from, but in response to my touch she arched her back with her head facing up and released a scream combined with a painful grunt.
