ADIRA LOOKS DIFFERENT

Since Adira already discovered Zara's deceit from her past, she immediately stands up from her bed and begins to prepare herself for work. Despite always presenting herself with elegance and grace, Adira decides to revamp her appearance. She dons a pair of jeans, a red top matched with black high-heeled shoes, and tops it off with sunglasses. Her long, sweeping, black hair flows down her back as she steps out of her house confidently and declares.

"Zara, let's start."

After her parents' supposed car accident left Adira with an aversion to driving, she refused to get behind the wheel. However, with her newfound knowledge that Zara had orchestrated the incident, Adira opts to take control and drive herself. She cannot afford to trust anyone, as Zara could easily manipulate others to achieve her nefarious goals on her. Zara and Hawley eagerly await Adira's arrival at the company so Zara can introduce Hawley to Adira, as in their previous life.

Adira's entrance into the company's parking lot could be compared to a thrilling action scene. Observing her bold and impressive driving, the workers can hardly believe it was Adira herself behind the wheel. She meticulously parks her car before striding into the company's lobby. The workers gawk in amazement at her appearance, commenting.

"Is this Miss Adira? She's early today!"

The sound of Adira's high-heeled shoes captures the attention of the workers, who have never seen her dressed so stunningly before.

Even though her parents owned a fashion company and Adira had taken over after their passing, she had never paid too much attention to fashion. Adira dresses for herself, caring little for other people's opinions. With knowledge of her past life, however, Adira is determined to change everything and reshape herself entirely.

"Hello," Adira said and smiled at the workers who were still staring at her. The moment Adira smiled, her cute small dimples came out, making her even more beautiful.

"Good morning, ma'am," the workers let out in response and bowed to Adira.

"Did you see ma'am's smile?" one of the workers said to her colleague.

"Her smile is very cute and beautiful," the other worker replied heartily, still staring at Adira as she walked towards the elevator.

Zara quickly found out about Adira's arrival because she heads the admin section, and her office is on the first floor. As soon as Zara heard that Adira was in the company, she was surprised because the Adira she knew would never come to the company that early.

In the previous life, Adira always left everything to Zara, so Adira would always come late to the company or not even come at all. She left the company's matters for Zara to handle since she regarded Zara as her biological sister. But now, since Adira already has the knowledge of her previous life, she would not let things be like that anymore, so she decides to come to the company early like any other bosses will do.

"Maybe Adira comes early because I told her I want Hawley to meet her," Zara thinks and smirks wickedly.

"That will be even better if Adira could fall for Hawley at once," Zara thinks and looks at Hawley, who sits on the sofa in her office.

"Since she is here, we should go meet her," Zara thinks again and smiles.

"Babe," Zara calls out to Hawley, who is sitting on the sofa waiting for Adira's arrival.

"She is here, let's start the drama," Zara said to Hawley and smiled at him.

They leave her office on the first floor, and before Adira could enter the elevator, Zara and Hawley come out to the lobby.

"Ma'am," Zara said to Adira, greeting her in a respectful manner.

Adira smirks secretly, hearing Zara call her ma'am and greet her respectfully. In her previous life, Zara had always called Adira ma'am too at the company or any occasion related to work after Adira parents died, and she took over the company.

Then, Adira had asked Zara not to refer to her as ma'am again since Zara is her elder sister. But Zara has told her it is the right thing to do because everyone now knows that they are not biological sisters after the death of Adira's parents.

Adira told Zara that she has always regarded her as a sister, but Zara still refers to her as 'ma'am' and shows her respect only in front of others. Zara explained that even though they are no longer sisters, since Adira is her boss, she has to refer to her as 'ma'am'. Saying she is grateful to Adira's parents for adopting her and taking care of her, so she will continue to work for Adira and repay their kindness.

Adira didn't think much of it because she believed Zara was sincere. However, when Adira hears Zara call her 'ma'am' again in this life, Adira realizes what Zara meant by paying back Adira's parents' favor in their previous life.

"Zara" Adira calls and smiles at Zara, who is shocked to hear Adira refer to her as 'Zara' instead of 'big sis which Adira always calls her.

"Who is that? Is that Hawley?" Adira then asks Zara if the person next to her is Hawley, to which she already knows but wants Zara to confirm herself.

"Yes, lil sis" Zara mutters changing how she address Adira instantly since Adira call her by her name too.

Hearing Zara suddenly addressing her as lil sis, Adira feels that she really did not know the real Zara in her previous life. Then, Zara will always call her ma'am in public so people could hear her but now that Adira calls Zara her name she quickly change how she address her too

"So Zara is deliberately calling me ma'am so people could point fingers at me?" Adira thinks and feel disgusted with Zara's cheap trick. Adira remembers that in a function herself and Zara attend together in her past life, Zara has refer to her as ma'am and people start to talk bad about her saying she is bossing Zara around because they are not real sister, she felt bad then but now she knows what Zara intends to do by calling her ma'am.

"Oh! This is Hawley" Adira smirk sizing Hawley from head to toe, she later smile softly.

Zara and Hawley look surprise seeing Adira sizing Hawley up in such matter, they don't seems to understand why Adira will look at Hawley like that.

"Let go discuss in the office then" Adira said and walk elegantly into the elevator while Zara follows Adira looking shock because Adira really seems difficult.
