There were heartbeats of silence after Aziel said all those words. He then shifted on his stance, standing even taller. He looked more imposing than he already was. “I hope I made it very clear now,” Aziel told Courtney for the last time, then turned his head to me and held my hand. “Let’s go, Chandra.” I bit my lower lip as I gave one last look at Courtney, she was just staring blankly on the cold tiles of the lavatory where her tears kept falling. I was still mad at her for accusing me and calling me names. I’m not really kind when it comes to people like her, but my heart couldn’t help but ache for her pain. “Chandra,” Aziel called me when I didn’t move an inch. Averting my eyes away from Courtney, I lifted my gaze up to him. “Let’s go now,” he said under his breath, sounding like
