On our way back, I couldn’t stop thinking about how Adam’s wound healed so quickly. Maybe it is a werewolf thing. They will have their powers. I glanced at Zane. He wouldn’t even look at me. Is he angry with me? Why wouldn’t he come to talk to me? I pouted.
“What are you pouting about?” Jess laughed. I sighed and looked at Zane again. He just kept walking ahead of us, not even glancing towards us.
“Aisha, let’s do something fun tonight. Me Tina and you. The three of us” Jess said.
“Yeah? That would be fun.” I said. “I’ve never had an experience like that before so this would be new to me. “
“Really? You would love it.”
I managed a small smile. After I had asked for time from Zane, my heart doesn’t seem to be content with anything.
