Hot Night

Alex continued to walk towards the parking lot. Arriving near his car, the man immediately threw the two objects in his hand and even the contents of the paper bag were scattered out. Not only that but the bouquet that was lying down was also targeted by Alex. He stomped on it until all the leaves littered the area. "Asshole! Damn woman!" cursed Alex with an angry face. Not only that, Alex grabbed the dress that had fallen and ripped it off. Even though the dress had a fairly thick material, it didn't stop him from destroying it. After being satisfied, the man threw it again, making a mess around Alex. All of Alex's men could only watch from a distance what the boss was doing. They all didn't dare to get close, let alone get in Alex's way. They already knew very well how Giulia's attitude was, but they didn't dare to say directly how rotten Giulia was. They were afraid that Alex wouldn't believe what they said because it seemed that Alex loved Giulia so much and in fact, the woman had betrayed Alex for a long time. Alex got into the car and sped away from his ex-girlfriend's apartment, not caring about the mess. The man had no intention of cleaning the place up and appeared to have a lack of manners and attitude. To Alex, it didn't matter. Alex's iron chariot was traveling quite fast, making several cars behind him unable to keep up with the speed used by Alex. Arriving somewhere, Alex immediately parked his car and got off with a face still filled with anger. "All of you go home, I'm in the mood," he said, asking all his men to go back and not follow him. "But, sir...," "I said, go home and don't contradict me, or I'll finish you all off!" Alex cut in quickly as he shouted, threatening them all with a terrifying look. Without thinking, they all nodded and got into their respective cars, and sped off, leaving Alex alone there. Alex stepped into his usual nightclub, where everyone inside knew him well. He immediately sat down next to a woman who was lamenting her fate. The girl turned around but didn't have the slightest intention of picking a fight with Alex. "It's you," the man said and immediately ordered three bottles of high-proof alcohol. That woman was Ciara, a good friend of the wife of the young master Alex worked for. Neither Ciara nor Alex ever got along because of unwarranted misunderstandings between them. Just like Ciara, Alex didn't want to argue with Ciara this time. "I'm not in the mood to fight with you," Ciara said without turning to Alex. "Same," the man replied briefly and then, gulped down the drink in his glass. Alex poured out the alcohol again and took another sip, and the man did so repeatedly until the two bottles were gone so quickly. Ciara turned her head to look at Alex. She noticed something different about the man Ciara knew as the head of the bodyguard. She brought her face closer. "Are you heartbroken?" asked Ciara who was already starting to look drunk. Alex looked at Ciara. "Are you going through the same thing?" asked the man who was also under the influence of alcohol. Ciara immediately pulled a face grabbed the glass in front of her and finished the drink that was currently in her hand. "That bastard dared to make out in front of me, he even said that he no longer loved me! He also dared to say in front of his mistress, that I was a prostitute and mine was no longer enjoyable. I did that only with him. What a bastard!" said Ciara in an irritated and vengeful tone. Ciara, who was already drunk, didn't realize what she was saying. Alex chuckled, making Ciara look at the man with a cynical face because she thought that Alex was mocking her for the insult made by Rudolf. "The same. That damn woman dared to kiss in front of me and then insulted me and kicked me out! She also loudly said that she didn't love me. So, what's the point of this almost one-year relationship? We were planning to get married next year," said Alex, who had the same problem as Ciara, namely being betrayed by their lovers. Ciara laughed. "Are you silent? I didn't. I pulled her hair and slapped her cheek with all my might. I even kicked Rudolf' sensitive parts and made him scream in pain. I wanted to drag them both to the street, but I didn't want to get my hands dirty," Ciara said with a face that still looked furious at how Rudolf had treated her. Alex snorted. "Do you think I'll just do nothing? Of course not. My foot flew right into that man's face until his nose was bleeding. If it wasn't for keeping Mr. Anderson's good name, I would have killed those two men!" Alex said. The man's face looked emotional and reddened because his anger was still at the top of his head. Ciara patted Alex's back as if to calm him down and encourage him. It wasn't long before both of them were laughing, out loud. Fortunately, the music in the room was big enough that it didn't reach the ears of the other patrons. Otherwise, all the guests would have been disturbed by their laughter. Ciara, who felt that she was already drunk, chose to go home. She was tired and wanted to rest. "Then I'll go home first, Lex. You continue," she said and stood up. Unfortunately, she almost fell if Alex didn't hold her up. "Good thing I'm around," Alex said, the man's face was so cute, like a child when he said that. "Thank you, handsome man," Ciara laughed as she rubbed Alex's cheek and then stood back up properly. The bartender who had been serving the two people was surprised to see Ciara wanting to leave the place. "Where are you going, Cia?" he asked. Ciara turned her head. "I'm going home," replied a very drunk Ciara. "You'd better go home with Janner. Not alone! You're already drunk," the man said again. Ciara narrowed her eyes at the man. "Are you underestimating me? I'm still sober and can drive my car," she said. Ciara didn't want to be underestimated by the man. "Don't be like that Cia, something will happen to you!" the man said again. "You are," Ciara said and gave the bartender, who was none other than her friend, a glare. Alex stood up. "Let me drive you," Alex said. He was already under the influence of alcohol, so much so that he couldn't even stand up straight. "You two are the same. Better wait a minute, let me call someone to take you home," the man said and was about to leave. Before the man could move to look for someone, Alex pointed his finger at the man and made the bartender silent because he knew who Alex was. The man chose to remain silent and just let Ciara and Alex walk away from him. The two of them staggered to the parking lot and helped each other when one of them almost fell. "Let's go home in my car," Ciara said and reached into her bag for the car keys. After getting it, Ciara immediately pulled Alex's hand who seemed to be standing still because he almost lost consciousness. They walked through the cars one by one, but Ciara was confused because she couldn't find her car. "This," Alex pointed at a black car. Ciara tried to look at the car. "No, it's not. It's not mine," she replied and they both walked back. "This isn't it?" said Alex as he again pointed to a car that was a different color from Ciara's. Ciara came closer and took a good look at the car. Even though from the color alone Ciara should have known that it was not her car, but being drunk made her not concentrate. Ciara waved her hand again and said, "No, it's not. My car is not ugly like this," she replied. It was a brand-new car, a far cry from her own. However, because of the circumstances, Ciara didn't realize when she said that. "Then, where's your car?" asked Alex, who was getting annoyed. Ciara pressed her lips together as if she had given up looking for her car. Alex's annoyed face became even more obvious looking at Ciara. "Never mind, it's better to just use my car," the man said and reached into his pants pocket. There was no argument from Ciara. She complied when her hand was pulled by Alex. Pressing the button on his car key, the man smiled as his iron chariot beeped. "Ha, that's my car," he said, pointing at the car with its lights flashing. Ciara clapped her hands and jumped up and down as they found Alex's car and prepared to go home. "Come on!" said Alex. Ciara half ran to Alex's car and was followed by the man Ciara hated for no good reason. Right beside the car, Ciara got in on her own without waiting for Alex to open the door for her. The astonished man walked over to the steering wheel and sat down. Alex tried to insert the key to start the car immediately, but it always failed. "Here, let me do it," said Ciara who approached Alex. Alex put his index finger to his lips. "Ladies sit down, this is men's business," he said subconsciously. Ciara waited for a long time, but the car didn't start. "You can't drive," Ciara taunted. Alex turned his head. "I can drive. You just shut up and sit down," he replied, repeating the same words. Again Ciara waited, just like before. She leaned back in the seat for a long time, but still, the car didn't start, even Ciara's sweat had started to soak her body due to the car's air conditioner not working. "The car won't start Al. Why don't we stay at the hotel here? I'm already starting to feel hot because the AC isn't working," said Alex who finally gave up on starting his car. "Why not earlier? Look at how much I'm sweating!" replied Ciara scowling. "Come on, let's go downstairs!" the man said again. Quickly, Ciara got off Alex's iron carriage, even forgetting that she wanted to try to start Alex's car. Ciara and Alex chose to stay at the hotel in the same building as the nightclub. The two of them stepped in and immediately booked a room for two, familiar to the receptionist because they already knew Ciara and Alex. All the hotel employees thought the two were in a serious relationship. Escorted by a male employee to the room they had booked, the two were now in front of the room they wanted. Ciara and Alex rushed in, they couldn't stand the heat and wanted to soak in the water or rest in the cool, air-conditioned room. Ciara who was already under the influence of alcohol and no longer realized who was around her, suddenly took off the shirt she was wearing and left only the cloth covering her mountain. Likewise, Alex, who was already drunk, saw this and immediately thought that it was Giulia, his ex-girlfriend. The man immediately approached and hugged Ciara and kissed Shena's best friend. Just like Alex, Ciara thought that the one who was fondling her was Rudolf. Especially when she looked at Alex's face, it completely changed into the face of the man who had just betrayed her.
