A man walks into a flower shop after buying a beautiful dress that his girlfriend wanted a few days ago. Tonight he will surprise the woman he loves, with whom he has been in love for a year.

Of all the women he's met, Giulia is the one he's fallen in love with. Roses are the choice of Alex Cattaneo, the young CEO who works as a bodyguard to cover up his identity. He chooses a large bouquet to complement the gift of a dress he has already purchased. With a smile on his face, he steps into his car. Up until now, it had been difficult to see the lines on the flat-faced man's face and it was only with Giulia that Alex did so.

Alex's iron chariot drove to Giulia's apartment. Alex couldn't wait to meet his girlfriend as he had been busy with work for the past few days and could only give her news and attention over the phone. Alex felt lucky to have a very understanding woman like Giulia, which he would not necessarily get from other women.

Arriving at Giulia's apartment area, Alex quickly parked his car. He deliberately did not tell Giulia that tonight he would come to visit the sexy woman's apartment. A feeling of happiness accompanied Alex as he walked to the 20th floor, where Giulia's unit was located.

Before pressing the bell, Alex straightened his shirt. He had to look neat and handsome when he met his girlfriend to stay in Giulia's heart and she wouldn't be mesmerized by another man's good looks.

However, he suddenly knitted his brows when he realized something. The door to his girlfriend's apartment wasn't closed tightly, making Alex wonder if someone else was in there or if his girlfriend was away and forgot to lock the unit. Due to high curiosity, Alex slowly pushed the door of the unit, he also tried to peek inside by inserting his head first. It was quiet, there was no one inside.

Alex tried to enter, but after just one step, the man noticed something unusual nearby. The middle man's shoes were not far from the shoe rack that Giulia used to wear. Alex furrowed his brow as he realized it wasn't his shoes that could have been left there.

"Whose are these?" he asked monologuing with a furrowed brow.

The man who worked as the head bodyguard and confidant of the De Luca family didn't want to think badly, he was still trying to calm his heart. He took another step to go inside and find out the truth, hoping that his bad thoughts weren't true and that the shoes belonged to one of the Giulia family.

Alex continued to walk silently, but he faintly heard a very unfamiliar voice in his ears. Yes, a man's voice. Alex looked for the source of the voice which turned out to be coming from his lover's room.

"Honey, I love you so much. I can't take it anymore," the man said and crushed Giulia's red lips. He couldn't wait to replace the thick liquid that was already full down there.

Alex, who was standing right in front of Giulia's door, which was not closed, clearly saw the scene and was inflamed. However, he still tried to restrain himself. He couldn't afford to be rash and had to gather more evidence that she had betrayed him.

It wasn't long before the man's lick was reciprocated by Giulia, even to the point of making Alex's lover on the lap of the man sitting on the sofa. Not only that, the man's hands also surfed on Giulia's slender body.

The two people's hot kiss ended, and now the man was kissing Giulia's neck and making the woman just stand still, even Alex heard a small sigh coming out of Giulia's lips which made Alex really couldn't resist anymore.

Alex roughly kicked the door of the room and managed to make the two couples who were making out jerked in surprise, even the door almost fell out of place.

"Alex," Giulia said with widened eyes and then immediately got off the lap of the man she had just kissed and stood up.

"What did you do with that man, Giulia?" asked Alex in a high tone and with a look full of emotion.

Giulia was pale because her affair had been discovered by Alex, even though she still wanted to play with Alex by spending his money to buy her whatever she wanted, even if it wasn't as much as her new lover was giving her at the moment.

Ozzie, Giulia's current lover, was annoyed by Alex's arrival and gave Alex a disapproving look.

"Who is he, honey? It's just annoying. Get rid of him!" said the man who sat down so casually and then reached for the cigarette case on the sofa beside him.

Alex could see Ozzie's gun already hardening under the jeans the man was wearing.

The bodyguard tried to get closer to Ozzie to punch him, but before Alex could do so, Giulia had already restrained Alex by standing in front of Ozzie so that Alex couldn't touch his new lover.

"Alex, what do you want?" she asked.

"I want to hit him. How dare he kiss my girlfriend!" said Alex with his breath catching and his hands clenched into fists.

Giulia immediately pushed Alex's body hard, which didn't knock him down, but at least got him away from Ozzie who was still lounging on the sofa.

"Lover? I'm not your lover, Alex!" Giulia said with a face that did not accept Alex's words and managed to make Alex widen his eyes in surprise.

"What did you say dear?" asked Alex with a surprised look on his face, hoping he had heard wrong.

"Is he your boyfriend, honey?" asked Ozzie with a dismissive look on his face as he looked Alex over from head to toe.

"No, honey. He's the guy I told you about yesterday. The guy who kept chasing me, even though I told him I didn't like him, still seemed to have no shame," Giulia replied in a very spoiled tone towards Ozzie and then gave a cynical look towards Alex.

Giulia's words took Alex by surprise. Never in his wildest dreams would he have heard such a direct insult from Giulia, his future wife.

"What the hell Giulia, I'm your boyfriend. We've been together for a year, we're even planning to get married next year," Alex said.

Giulia coughed and then chuckled. "Married? With you, Alex? Isn't that wrong? Don't dream! When did I say that? Never, did you? There's no way I'd marry a bodyguard like you. It would lower my self-esteem and also, a beautiful and classy person like me can't marry a lowly man like you!" insulted Giulia as she raised one lip while adding a disgusted look at Alex.

Alex was even more stunned. The more insults Giulia gave him made his pride seem to be trampled on by the woman currently standing in front of him. This was very painful, more than a gaping wound.

A happy laugh rang out from the man sitting on the sofa.

"You hear that damn human? Get out of here now, before I drag you out!" said Ozzie who acted like a hero when he chased Alex away.

The man had no idea of Alex's martial arts skills.

Without warning, Alex kicked the man with full force, causing Ozzie to fall backward with a bloody nose.

Giulia screamed at the top of her lungs and rushed to her lover's aid.

"Asshole! Damn it!" cursed Ozzie when he managed to stand up with Giulia's help.

Alex stepped closer to the couple with his face shrouded in anger, even his gaze was sinister like a predator ready to slaughter its prey.

"So, he's your lover? What did you think of me all this time, Giulia?" asked Alex through gritted teeth.

"Stop Alex, don't you dare hurt my future husband!" said Giulia as she pointed her index finger at Alex.

There was a great pain in Alex's heart when he heard Giulia's words. In the past year, he had fought with his love and maintained his relationship so faithfully, without the slightest intention of cheating on Giulia. However, what he got from Giulia was a betrayal he never expected.

She clutched the paper bag and bouquet still in her hand so tightly that her fists turned white with visible veins.

"You are a shameless woman, Giulia! I've loved you sincerely, but this is your reward. Where's your promise from yesterday?" shouted Alex who was trying hard to restrain himself from doing something over the top and then, causing a commotion there.

"You're a stupid man, Alex! Your fault for being gullible. Do you think I want to marry a poor man like you? Of course not!" replied Giulia, again with a contemptuous look in Alex's direction, even if it seemed that she was too lazy to respond to Alex's words.

Giulia's answer made Alex's heart heat up even more, like a fire doused in gasoline. Alex's grip on the paper bag strap tightened.

"Look, my beloved, he's a great businessman who has so much money that he could buy your whole life. Oh, yes. Not only you, but your whole family he can silence with his money," continued Giulia who continued to insult Alex.

If only Giulia knew that the man she was currently insulting was no ordinary bodyguard, but a young CEO with a fortune that could silence many trashy mouths like Giulia.

"Listen to that poor guy! Get the hell out of here! You're interrupting our fun," said the man who was still cleaning his nose as blood continued to flow from Alex's powerful kick.

Alex glanced sharply at Ozzie and managed to scare the man away.

"Get out of here Alex! I don't want to see you and you should never contact me again, let alone set foot in my house. I don't want to because I don't want a useless person like you entering my house!" chased Giulia who added to the insults given by Ozzie earlier.

Alex tried hard not to do anything more to the two men, given his current position as a bodyguard. If he made a wrong move, his boss's name would be at stake as Giulia might report him to the authorities.

Without saying much Alex walked away from the two men. He'd rather give in this time, but he wouldn't forget his resentment for their humiliation.

You'll see! Can you still laugh with satisfaction like that asshole? Alex said in his heart as he continued to walk. A smirk was present on the handsome man's face and it looked terrifying.
