Yesa, who had been waiting to hear from Ciara since last night, continued to be anxious because her best friend had not yet given her any news, after last contacting her to say that Ciara had caught Rudolf in the act of having an affair, even more than just an ordinary dinner.
"Honey," Anderson said from behind and immediately embraced his wife's body.
"Ciara's number is still not active, I'm really worried about her. Where did she go? I'm afraid something will happen to her," said Yesa with a very anxious look on her face.
Not without reason, why Yesa was so worried about her best friend because Ciara had no one but herself since her best friend's parents had remarried. Both Ciara's mother and father had considered their daughter dead.
"You take it easy sweetheart, I'll ask Alex to help me find Ciara if she hasn't contacted you in the next hour," Anderson replied as he lowered his head to touch his wife's shoulder.
Yesa turned her head slightly to look at her husband's face.
"Why didn't you order Alex earlier? Didn't I tell you that last night?" she asked with a frown on her face.
Anderson lifted his face, but his arm was still around his wife's waist.
"How could I give Alex an order when his number is just as unreachable as Ciara's, and he hasn't even arrived yet? Alex is not usually like this," Anderson replied.
Alex had worked for the Anderson family for a long time, but this was the first time that the young man who owned the famous company looked confused. Even Anderson had ordered some of his men to look for Alex's whereabouts in the man's apartment, but until now all the men assigned by Anderson could not find the whereabouts of Anderson's chief bodyguard at all. That's what made the handsome man also worried about Alex. After all, Alex was his responsibility while working with him.
"Where is he? Did something happen to him?" asked Yesa as she released her husband's embrace and faced the man who was much taller than her.
Anderson shrugged his shoulders in response, saying he didn't know what was going on with his confidant.
"Is he having personal problems?" asked Yesa again, seemingly unsatisfied with her husband's answer.
"I don't know, Honey because Alex is very private about his family matters. Even until now, I've never seen his parents' faces. Because he always says that his parents are abroad, but what I know is that Alex's relationship with his parents is very good," Anderson replied while continuing to look closely at his wife's beautiful face.
Yesa looked surprised. Naturally, she had only been married to Anderson for a few months so she didn't know much about Alex.
"How can it be like that dear? When you accepted him, didn't you ask about his family?" Yesa asked back.
Anderson shook his head.
"Isn't that someone's matter and it's not appropriate for me to inquire deeply about it," Anderson replied.
Yesa sighed. He knew that, but didn't people like Anderson have to know the background of everyone who would be working for their family?
"I know, but isn't it very dangerous if you don't know everything? What if Alex or any of your other men have evil intentions to destroy your family in the first place? How can you report it when you don't know everything about the people who work for you?" asked Yesa who disagreed with her husband's answer.
Anderson chuckled and kissed his wife gently on the cheek.
"You don't have to worry about that dear, we know all the backgrounds of the people who work for our family, it's just that Alex is very private about his matters. Although we've never seen his parents' faces, I've spoken to Alex's father. That doesn't sound very plausible, does it? But, that's what happened," said Anderson, trying to give his wife some understanding.
"Rich people are weird," said Yesa as she folded her face.
"Never mind, let's not dwell on that. We'd better have breakfast now! I don't want our future child to starve in here," Anderson said as he gently rubbed Yesa's already bulging belly.
Yesa chose to remain silent and nodded. It was useless for her to stay in the room thinking about Ciara's whereabouts, while she also had to think about her womb that had to be nourished this morning.
Meanwhile, in the hotel room. Ciara, who had finished cleaning herself, hurried to leave the hotel room because she clearly remembered that Rudolf and the man's new lover were in the same hotel last night. Ciara didn't want to see the disgusting couple again because she was afraid that she wouldn't be able to restrain herself from doing another anarchy like last night, even more violent than that.
Before taking a step, the girl's hand reached for her flat object. The girl let out a basic sigh as she realized that her phone was dead. She could not remember what caused the death of her smartphone.
Ciara tried to turn it on, but failed. It turned out that the battery power of her cell phone ran out.
"It turns out the battery ran out, it's worth dying. There must have been a lot of calls from Yesa. I have to go back quickly," said the girl then quickly left the room, wearing a mask and hat so that no one would recognize her.
Meanwhile, Alex, the man returned to his private mansion. No wonder all of Anderson's men could not find the whereabouts of Alex when they all went to the man's apartment because all of Anderson's men did not know Alex's mansion.
"Sir, you just came back? What's going on? I couldn't reach you all night?" asked Mark, Alex's confidant with a worried look on his face. Even Mark couldn't trace the whereabouts of his young master.
Alex shook his head. "Nothing happened. I'm fine," he said then resumed his steps followed by Mark.
"But you look messed up, sir," said Mark again who continued to walk behind Alex.
Alex briefly paused his words and was followed by Mark, but immediately resumed walking.
"I'm fine, Mark," Alex said with his feet continuing to walk into the elevator in the mansion.
"Did Miss Giulia betray you, sir?" Mark asked again.
Alex immediately looked at Mark with both eyebrows furrowed.
As if he knew what Alex was thinking, Mark said, "Sorry, sir. I was just guessing."
Mark immediately bowed his head.
The handsome man continued to walk towards his room because he wanted to clean up immediately.
Alex grumbled, this was all because of Ciara's actions that made him unable to shower in the hotel room and go home in a mess like this.
Damn woman, Alex said to herself in the middle of her footsteps.
"Please get my clothes ready because I'm going to work soon. Mr. Anderson must be waiting for me and very angry with my tardiness today," Alex ordered his confidant who was currently standing behind him.
Mark nodded. "Yes, sir," he said. "The servants have also prepared breakfast for you, it's probably already cold. I'll ask them to make you a fresh latte." Mark said as he stepped towards Alex's work-in closet.
"No need because I don't have time for hot coffee," Alex said and managed to make his personal assistant's steps stop then turn around and, bowing his head, signaled his understanding of the orders given by Alex.
The handsome man with the sharp gaze continued his steps towards the bathroom, he felt hot.
Alex quickly took off all his clothes. The man was a little surprised when he saw the remaining liquid that was still attached to his weapon, in a state that had dried up quite a lot. He could confirm that he did it not just once, but repeatedly.
"What a damn woman! She took advantage of my drunken state. Isn't she ashamed to be such a slut?" Alex said as he continued to look at his weapon which was currently still standing at attention.
"Just watch out if she does something to set me up. I won't stay silent, even though she's a friend of Mrs. Yesa," Alex said again while holding back his anger.
Had he known what happened last night, he might never have thought that Ciara was the one who had seduced him. They did it without coercion, or a trap set by one of them.
"Asshole!" cursed Alex then kicked the bathroom wall with enough force that the man ignored the pain in his leg.
Because he was too focused on Ciara, Alex forgot that last night there were more painful things for him than just spending the night with that poor woman.
