CHAPTER FIVE
Remi and Daniel exchanged a glance.
Edinburgh, Remi thought. Angus was going to stop in Edinburgh on his way to Kirkwall.
“Did he say what he was researching?” Remi asked.
“The Holy Grail. It was his passion. He said he had discovered an important new bit of evidence and he wanted to speak with some other researchers.”
“Did he mention them by name?”
“No. But it should all be in his email. Let me get on it. I know his password. We never kept secrets from each other.”
Abigail led them to a cramped home office where a small desk with an old desktop computer was stuck between two tall filing cabinets. She turned it on and brought up her late husband’s email account, putting in the password.
“Could you write down the password so we can check this out later if we need to?” R
