“Mason, what are you doing here?”
I haven’t seen Mason in nearly a year since he walked out on our relationship. We were together for five years and I honestly thought I would never see him again, yet here he is looking as handsome as ever. I can’t believe he is here! I don’t know whether to be excited or upset.
He smiles at me. “Hey baby.” I always hated that term of endearment. “I was wondering if we could talk.”
I raise my eyebrows at him. “I don’t think so Mason. You shouldn’t be here.” I move to close the door but he holds it open with one of his strong arms. He was a personal trainer when we were together so I know it’s useless trying to overpower him.
“Please baby, just let me buy you a coffee and we’ll go to the park. I really need to talk to you.” Mason pleads with me.
