Helping the King

2018 Words
Airen's POV So the mighty powerful king can laugh? I wonder if he will still laugh when my warriors and I start training the ladies of his court. They are doing it all wrong. You can not just give them a bow and arrow and expect them to shoot or put them on a horse and expect them to ride. They first need to toughen up. "Ummm, sorry to bother you, Your Highness," The elf that walked in with his mouth hanging open speak at last. "What is it, Baron? Can't you see I am busy?" Arlolon asks, and I can feel he is irritated with the one called Baron. "Your Highness, the women are useless, we have tried everything, and now they refuse to train and say they are going back to be ladies," Baron asks. He sneaks a peek at me again, and I am getting irritated. "It is because they are used to do as they like. What kind of warrior are you? You let a bunch of ladies tell you what they are going to do?" I ask, and Baron is red in the face. "He respects women," Arlolon tries to stand up for his friend, but I will have none of it. "Call them back and tell them if they are not back on the training grounds in five minutes, they will not have one dress left to wear to special occasions," I say, and Baron looks at Arlolon, not sure what to do. "Go tell them, although I think they will laugh and do as they like," Arlolon says. I look at him and snort. "Some King you are. I feel like leaving and leave you and your no-spine army to die," I say and feels like walking out, but Arlolon looks so damn handsome today without all his gold and in plain fighting clothes. "So what do you suggest I do? Grab them by the hair and pull them to the training ground?" He asks, and I can see he is angry. "No, men, do not mistreat women but leave than to my lady warriors and me if they are not back in five minutes. I will go into their living courtiers and cut up all their dresses," I say, and I see Arlolon raise his eyebrow. Damn, why does this bloody High Elf King have to be so damn sexy? I want to walk out, but he grabs my arm and holds me back. My arm tingles where he touches it, and I look at him with a question in my eyes. "I am not done with you yet, Wood Elf. You can not come here and take over. I am still King of this Kingdom!" He says, but he does not let go of my arm. "Do you want my bloody help or not?" I ask, also angry now. I came all this way to help him, and now he wants to question my techniques? "I warn you to talk to me with respect!" Arlolon says, and there is a warning in his eyes. I look at him and laugh. "I am your equal. As you are a King, I am a Queen, do not underestimate me!" I say and wants to pull my hand out of his arm. He is angry. I can see his blue eyes looking like flames of ice. He holds on to my arm. He is stronger than me, and the more I struggle, the wider his grin becomes. It makes me mad, and I lift my other arm to slap him, but he grabs it and pulls me close to his body. His face is very close to mine as he looks into my eyes, and for the death of me, I can not look away. "You may be a Queen, but lawfully I am still your King as well," He says between his teeth. "No, you are not. We denounced you and your kind as our rulers a long time ago," I say and tries to struggle against his hard body. "You are on my grounds now, so, at this moment, I am your King," Arlolon says. "I came to help you, but you obviously do not want my help! Let go of me," I say, my eyes not leaving his. He releases my arms, but his arms go around my waist, pulling me even closer to him. I panic. I can not be this close to him! His face comes closer to mine, and the next moment he kisses me. My mind tells me to slap him and run back to my kingdom, but my body betrays me as it relaxes against his, and my lips parts for his tongue that keeps licking them. He kisses me as I have never been kissed before. I can feel him deepen the kiss and losing control. I can not stop myself but kiss him back. After a while, we pull away from each other. I look down and can not look him in the eye as I could feel what the kiss was doing to him, and his tights were getting way too small. He turns his back on me, so I can not see for myself. "Ummm," I clear my throat, "This never happened," I say as I get ready to walk out. I hear his soft laugh and turn around. "Why? You are afraid of my kisses, Queen Airen? Does the cold mighty Wood Elf Queen like the High Elf King's kisses?" He asks. "No, if you dare to touch me again, I will..." I say, but before I can finish my sentence, he says. "You will kiss me back again?" He smiles. "I am here to help you, and you take advantage of me!" I am furious. "I did not hear you complain. It looked like you enjoyed it to me," He says with a grin. My face is red with embarrassment. "Well, I could feel you enjoy it, and it is a wonder your tights did not burst open in the front," I say. He laughs. "Of cause I enjoyed it, but while you teach the ladies of my kingdom to become warriors, why don't you ask them to teach you how to kiss a real man," He says. I am so angry I grab the first thing I can get and throw it at him. It is an old vase, and he grabs it before it hits the ground. "Good reflexes next time it may be an arrow heading for your head. Let's hope you are as fast again then," I say before I open the door to walk out. I hear his soft laughter as I walk out. What now? Do I take my warriors home? No way! I will teach him and his "ladies" a lesson. Baron comes walking to me, and he looks at me in admiration. "Your Highness, the ladies are not coming out to train again. What shall we do?" Baron asks me. I whistle, and my lady warriors surround him. "Show us where they stay," I say. He smiles at the beautiful girls that joined me in their tight and tops. All of us is wearing our capes. I must admit we do look much better than that the women I saw earlier with their white powdered faces and fake red lips. "Right this way, ladies," Baron says, and we stop in front of a large building next to the castle. We tell him to stay outside, and we walk in. The woman looks at us as if we are from another planet or something.  "Get those dresses, ladies," I tell my warriors, and we start with the first few closets. Taking out dresses and ripping them to pieces, we take the white powder and hairpiece and throw them in the fireplace with the red stuff they put on their lips. "Who are you? And what do you think you are doing?" One of the ladies shout at us, but we push her out of our way and continue to do what we do. We only leave their tights and tops. After we are done, it looks like a war took place inside the building and they all sit crying in their tights and tops. "Now, next time your King asks you to do something, you show him respect and do as he tells you. You are not humans! You are elves. I want to see all of you outside at the training ground in five minutes, or else I will come back here and drag you by the bloody hair outside!" I say as I walk out. Arlolon and Baron are waiting at the training grounds as my warriors and I come walking to the training ground. Arlolon and Baron smirk. "I see you could not get them here as well, Your Highness," Barron says. I smile and look at him and Arlolon. "They will be here. Give them five minutes. They need to stop crying first," I say as I look at Arlolon. He is still smirking, and I want to slap that bloody smirk off his face. I know he is thinking of our little encounter in his office. After five minutes, the ladies come walking to the training grounds, not looking happy. I know they will try to give me and my warriors grief, but they don't know what is waiting for them. Baron looks at them in surprise no white faces and fake red lips. They look more natural and beautiful. They also look angry and stare at him and Arlolon. "I said to show you King respect, someone that give their King such looks is not respecting him," I say, and underneath my breath so only Arlolon can hear, I say, "Not that I blame them," Arlolon looks at me and smile. I look at the ladies standing in front of my warriors and me, giving my generals instructions. "Train them like our rookies. They have never been trained before. We will start with survival training," My generals nod, and they divide the High elf women into groups. They each take a group and disappear into the wood with them. "Where are they going?" Arlolon asks me. I look at him and start walking to the woods. "We will see you in a few days, don't worry if they don't give us trouble, they will be back alive," I say as I jump into a tree. "She is like your mother and our women warriors of old, do not fear King. She will bring the ladies back trained and ready to fight,"  I hear an old lady says to Arlolon. "Well, at least our men will have peace for a few nights," I hear him answer. They do not realise I am still there. "She is beautiful and graceful like her mother was. Don't let your arrogance get in the way you feel about her," The old lady says, and she walks away. I see Arlolon standing there looking at the tree I jumped into. He smiles as if he knows something I don't know. Then he turns around and walks back to his fancy castle. I snort. The old lady does not know how we feel about each other. He hates me as much as I hate him. I move fast to where my horse Snowflake is waiting for me. I jump on her back, and we ride like the wind back to my house. I want the feelings he awakens in my heart to blow away with the wind. I do not want to remember that kiss and how he held me. I want to forget how good it felt to be in his arms. Arlolon, what the hell have you done to me? Why can't I get you out of my head? I cannot allow you into my heart as I know you look down on me and that any love between us will be forbidden as you and your court will never think I am good enough for a King like you!
