As we sat down for breakfast, I couldn't help but notice that Lilly appeared much improved. Determined to make it up to her, I decided to plan a surprise party. The perfect location would be the ballroom next to the pack house, so I made a mental note to ask my father for permission. I knew that I would need Becca and Levi's assistance in organizing everything, as I wanted to ensure that everyone she loved would be there, including her parents, Steve and Sandy.
Caught in my thoughts, Lilly reached out and grabbed my hand. "What's on your mind?" she asked, curious.
I grinned mischievously, teasing her about the car I had given her. "So, what do you want for your birthday, babe? You haven't even had a chance to drive the car much yet."
