EPISODE 26- PUB AT THE SLUMS

Xyra's drone led me to the slums of the town, there I stood in front of a pub. The pub gave me a really shady feeling, this feeling of mine was even boosted by the surrounding area. There were many shady looking people staring straight at me, not only that but many girls wearing quite revealing outfits even asked me if I want their services.

This place is very dangerous for people who can't defend themselves. After looking and observing the pub I immediately entered, stepping a foot inside the pub revealed too many things that my virgin eyes weren't prepared. So with all my self-control left I tried focusing on the main mission.

B-but…THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS! How can these people perform such atrocious acts in such public places? What the hell, don't they know what decency is!?

“Calm down Philip, I know you are still a virgin, but you don't have anything, so forget about it and FOCUS ON THE MISSION!” yelled Xyra in my head as I looked at the spicy activities happening around me.

After that, I immediately replied to Xyra, “Do you really have to say that? You do know that I'm in pain seeing these things, that I won't be able to do.”

“Just shut up sir and move,” replied Xyra, which I immediately did.

I was following the drone who has the GPS function, and the location it gave me was on the third floor of this pub. I climb the two flights of stairs reaching the location of the drone that I sent. Following the GPS lead me to the last door of the hallway on the third floor.

I then asked Xyra, “Can you give me the live footage of what's going on on the other side of the room?”

Xyra replied, “Affirmative sir,” she then displayed the mini-screen where the live feed of the drone was displayed. There were five people inside the room, the three were familiar to me, especially the bear dead who had lost both of his arms. The two people in the room were the only ones I don't recognize.

It seems they are talking about something, seeing this I immediately asked Xyra if she could also broadcast the audio of the footage I was looking at.

Without hesitation, she replied with, “Yes,” the video I was looking at suddenly had a sound. I was now able to hear the conversation of the people inside the room.

“Boss, it's not Walsh's fault if he lost his arms!” spoke the human thug to the wolf beast-man whom he called his boss. The wolfman wore a red coat with a waistcoat inside, red breeches, and a white cravat on his neck. His head was a wolf with gray fur, his hands also had fur.

After the human thug spoke, the other human who was standing next to the boss answered the human thug who just spoke. “How dare you complain Walsh stupidity to our boss, punk.”

“I'M NOT TALKING TO YOU, OSCAR! I'm TALKING TO BOSS DANNY!” yelled the human thug that I had already encountered.

“Hey, when did you learn to shout at your superior like that? Maybe you want me to cut that tongue of yours punk.”

“That's enough Oscar,” spoke the wolfman named Danny. Oscar the human standing next to the boss immediately kneeled down to his Boss and apologized. “I'm very sorry boss if I did make you angry. It's just that I can't just stand these workers who complain even though they haven't finished their job. ”

“How dare you! My friend here lost both of his arms and you don't give a f**k. ”

“I told you before it's his stupidity that caused his arms to be cut off. This is the reason why you three haven't upgraded in this organization's ranks. If you were more diligent in your jobs the boss might be giving...”

“You two stop with this bullshit,” spoke Danny to the two humans. He then turned his look at Walsh whose hands were bandaged. “You Walsh, I'm sorry to say this but you are useless to me now, and you are a liability for my businesses, so it's time to put you down for good. ”

“But Boss!!” yelled the human thug.

“But what!?” asked Danny to the human thug.

“Walsh can still work for you bos..”

“That's enough Frank, even how much you defend that buffoon he serves me no purpose anymore. But you seem persistent, so Oscar why don't you hand the sword over to Frank.”

Oscar then gave his sword to Frank, causing him to question what boss Danny has in mind. After receiving the sword from Oscar, Danny spoke again. “Now Frank, I want you to kill that useless buffoon. If you will not then I will see you two as traitors, also Oscar I order you to kill all of them if they defy this order.”

Danny then stood up from his chair and walked straight to the door. Oscar who was still shocked by what Danny ordered him, asked, “Where are you going boss?”

Danny looked at Oscar and answered, “I'm going for a drink downstairs. Make sure everything is finished when I return. Also Frank don't even think about fighting Oscar his still stronger than your three combined.”

The boss then continued to walk towards the door, but upon opening the door, he was immediately greeted by a towering figure who was looking directly at him.

The boss then spoke to the towering figure blocking his way. “Who the heck are you? If you don't have any business here get out of the way.” Instead of complying the figure just stood straight looking straight at the boss.

Suddenly Frank yelled at Danny as he saw the familiar, “Boss that's the guy who cut off Walsh's arms!”

Danny immediately reacted by jumping four steps backward. He then pulled out his rapier and pointed it to the towering figure whose head was not visible as he was too tall for the door.

“So you are the one who cut off one of my men's arms, so what is the reason for this visit of yours?” Spoke Danny to the towering figure.

The figure then crouched a little bit and crawled to enter the room. The figure then stood up back straight again after successfully entering the room. It then spoke to Danny, “Pointing a sword to a person is quite rude.”

After hearing this Danny smiled and replied to the figure, “If I will not point my sword to you, then my life would be in danger, so it just self-defense and not being rude.”

“This wolfman is weak, sir,” spoke Xyra as he analyzed the Danny. I then asked Xyra, “Can you give me his stats then.”

Xyra then showed me a pop-up screen again showing the status of my foe.

“Wait you can see the damage of a weapon now Xyra?” I questioned with a surprised tone to Xyra. She then answers me, “Yes, haven't I told you that I also learn new skills as you level up.”

“Come to think about it, you did say that thing multiple times, but I guess this new skill of yours will be helpful in knowing the enemy.”

As Destroyer was talking to Xyra, which caused him to completely ignore Danny who has still on his guard up against Destroyer.

“Hey why are you just standing there and staring at me creepily?” asked Danny to Destroyer who was standing still in front of him. Why did Danny ask this? Because he felt like the man in front of him starting right through his soul.

“Oh! Sorry I was just thinking about something.” Spoke Destroyer to the confused and scared Danny.

“I see, but you haven't told the reason why you had come here.”

“Oh! I forgot about that after seeing your weak status. I thought you were powerful after these people called you boss.”

Danny's looked turned sour after hearing Destroyer, not happy about Philip's words he immediately launched an attack while yelling these words, “HOW DARE YOU CALL ME WEAK!” while he thrusts his rapier swiftly towards Destroyer.

“Too slow,” suddenly spoke destroyer as he evades the thrust easily by just moving to the left. This caused Danny to be shocked and irritated.

The other people in the room were surprised by this, Danny who was still in shock spoke to one of the people in the room, “Oscar, Ling, and Frank help me with this one, he is quite dangerous for me to fight alone. ”

Frank immediately went toward the boss along with Ling and Oscar. Frank then looked at Walsh and spoke, “Move away little from there Walsh, you might get caught up in this fight in that condition.”

Walsh immediately nodded and moved further away from them. After that Danny spoke again to Frank, “Hey if you kill this bastard I might be able to rethink my decision about Walsh.”

“Then if it's saving my friend then I will gladly do it!” after speaking those words Frank immediately dashes forward Destroyer with his sword.

“Admirable, but you are far too weak to attack me,” arrogantly spoke Destroyer as he evades the attack from Frank.

But as Destroyer evades the attack another figure suddenly appeared behind him thrusting a sword. Which destroyer immediately reacted by blocking the blade of the sword with his arms.

Damn it that was a surprise attack my HP lose 78 points, I then looked at the enemy who attacked me and saw the wolfman smiling with satisfaction.

“Well, where's the cocky bastard calling me slow,” spoke the wolfman cockily. I then replied to him, “Can we just talk this out, I kinda don't want to fight anyone today.”

“So you are chickening out eh, too bad you just chose death a few minutes ago!” yelled Danny as he launches a barrage of thrusts towards Destroyer.

Destroyer immediately backs down a few steps but another figure came dashing with an attack using his fist. “Damn it you are annoying,” spoke Destroyer as he evades the two attacks coming towards him.

“This is unfair guys four vs one in a small room, you really don't want me to live do you. Then if that's the case, I guess I'll have to get serious. ” After saying those words I immediately pulled my twin katanas revealing a glowing yellow blade. I then asked them again after pulling my sword, “Now let me ask you again are you still willing to talk this out, I'm asking you this as I see your chance of defeating me is 0%, this is my last question if I would be merciful to you guys.”

Danny looked at Destroyer and started laughing at his words, he then spoke, “Merciful you say, your comedy is gold I have to admit. I never thought that I would be able to fight an opponent who has a great sense of humor.”

“I'm humorous you say, I'm sorry but that was very insulting to me. Then let's see if you still find it humoring if I cut all of you here in pieces.”

Danny didn't take Destroyer's words seriously so he replied “Do you really think we're taking you seriously, there's four of us and one of you. You don't stand a chance against us, so just stand idly there so we could kill you painlessly.”

Destroyer didn't reply instead he suddenly vanished to thin air, causing the four to be on guard. Seconds pass by Danny who was holding his sword suddenly felt a strange feeling in his wrist. The feeling was hot and only lasted for a millisecond, he looked at his wrist but saw nothing out of the ordinary, due to this he didn't pay any more attention to it, causing him to turn away from his wrist.

But as he turns away he suddenly heard something falling down on the floor. When he turned back to look at the source of the sound he saw his hand fall off the floor along with his rapier, Destroyer also appeared in his front causing him to be stunned.

Then moments later blood started to splurge out of his arms as he starts to scream in pain. The other three looked at this with a terrified look, but one of them tried to attack Destroyer with a swing of his sword, this man was Oscar.

This was also the most foolish decision that Oscar did, as before he could even reach his sword towards Destroyer his arms were immediately cut off, causing him to be stunned like Danny. But before Oscar could scream, his head immediately departed from his body.

Oscar saw his headless body as he took his last breath. The other people who saw this looked at the scene with fear causing them to stop their advance toward Destroyer. Danny who has lost his right hand immediately run straight to the door, but as he was about to reach the door frame, Destroyer appeared behind him faster than the blink of an eye.

He then cut Danny's head with ease, he even damages the door frame and the door. Frank, Ling, and Walsh started to back down as their knees tremble in fear.

“Please don't hurt us, sir! We were just the underlings of those two!” pleaded Ling as he bowed his OX-head towards Destroyer.

“Underlings or not, you three still did there dirty work. But I will let you go for now,” I then pointed my katana to them. I then added, “In the condition that you will never do these atrocious works, or my sword will come straight at your necks.”

The three immediately prostrated down after hearing Destroyer, even the feistiest one named Frank without hesitation prostrated to me, they then spoke, “We promise that Oh, powerful one.”

These guys are making up weird names, maybe I have overdone scaring them. I didn't really want to kill these three after seeing how they cared for each other.

I spoke to them as they prostrated in my front, “You may raise your head, as I have no intention in killing you, but remember what I told you about not committing atrocious acts again, cause if you three fail to do that, I will definitely cut you wankers heads .”

“YES SIR!, ” they replied in unison, as I walk out of the room.

As I walk out of the room I just realized that I killed a boss that might be connected to some big organization “probably” well I don't care as those three will try to get out of this town completely erasing my existence in killing those two.

But what if those three wouldn't skip town, Damn it! Maybe I have to report this to the town lord, about me taking down some criminals. But before that, I will have to tell the good news to Miss Sazar about the loan sharks will stop bothering her anymore.
