EPISODE 11- AT THE GUILD

After that mission, I immediately went back to my INN. After seeing the female adventurers not happy at my presence. So I decided to go back to my INN, as I was going back I saw something on the streets. It was a street food stall selling some kind of meat, it was skewered meat to be exact.

I then went to the stall owner who was kinda scared of my presence. I then spoke to the owner, “Five of those meat skewers please.”

The owner of the stall was kinda nervous after I spoke to him. He even didn't give a glimpse as he serves the skewers to me. I then gave 5 silver coins as each skewer was worth 100 Marx or 1 silver coin.

I then moved away from the stall and proceeded on my way home. I was gonna give these skewers to Maya who might be hungry, also for Ms. Sazar.

Upon arriving at the INN I saw Ms. Sazar cleaning the entrance of the INN. I immediately greeted her, “Hello Ms. Sazar, how was your day today?”

Sazar wiped off her sweat before she replied, “Pretty normal actually, the usual cleaning, cooking, and expecting customers to stay.”

As we were talking, Ms. Sazar was looking at the skewer I was holding. She was pretty obvious from the start but she was trying hard not to show her glutton side. I then grabbed two of the skewers and gave it to Ms. Sazar.

“Here you go Ms. Sazar I bought this for you.”

“Wait it's for me?, thank you very much Mr. Destroyer.”

Ms. Sazar immediately took a bite in one of the meat skewers. But only seconds passed and she finished eating a skewer that was a one and a half kilos worth of meat. She devoured it like something she had never eaten before.

She then had an embarrassed face, after I look at her with disbelief. She then spoke, “Sorry about that Mr. Destroyer I haven't eaten any proper amount of meat for a long time.”

“Just how poor are you to not afford that kind of meat!?” I spoke those words to myself.

I then ask Ms. Sazar, “Where is Maya?”

“She's in the kitchen cleaning the dishes, is there something do you need with her.”

“Not really ma'am, but I would like to give her this meat. If you were that craving for meat then I'm pretty sure she is also craving for this kind of meat.”

I then left Ms. Sazar with her chores and went straight to the kitchen. Upon arriving at the kitchen I immediately saw Maya looking at me and was drooling at the food I was holding.

I then spoke to Maya, “Here Maya, it's all yours.”

Maya suddenly blushed and spoke, “I'm sorry Mr. Destroyer I think I cannot eat your food, I'm sure you bought those for yourself.”

“Uh, no I bought this for you and your mom, also I have eaten in the guild.”

Maya suddenly appeared in my front without me noticing, she then looked at me with a drooling mouth. I then gave her the three skewered meat I was holding.

When she received the skewered meat, she immediately devoured everything like a beast. She was even more of a beast in devouring meat than her mother. She was able to finish three stocks in 2.5 seconds which left my jaw drop even I don't have one.

I then spoke to Maya after she finished her food, “I'm gonna go back to my room now.” I then went back upstairs, now the girl last night was here anymore. Maybe I should ask Ms. Sazar about the other three people staying here.

Meanwhile at the guild…

An old man somewhere in his sixties was inside a room which seems to be an office. He had a white long hair and white long beard, he was wearing a dirty white robe with some kind of bluish stitching on its edges.

As the old man was reading some manuscripts, a knock echoed from his door. The old man looked at the door and asked, “Who is it?”

“It's me, Ann Marie guild master Mordor.”

“Come in Ann Marie, it is open.”

Ann Marie immediately opened the door and entered the room. The old man who is called Mordor spoke to Ann Marie.

“So how was the hunt for that creature?”

“We discovered something horrible master. Which is why I don't know if I should be glad that I didn't lose any men or should I be worried as the creature has now babies following her, boosting her calamity level to class A.”

“Wait that beast has kids!? Then that beast is definitely an A-class threat. We must get the military involved with it, this town's adventurer guild cannot handle such beast alone. ”

Ann Marie took the vacant seat and put her axe beside her and spoke to the guild master. “But how long do we have to wait for the military? You do know master Mordor on how slow the kingdom's military is when preparing. So even we wait for them, this beast or creature might be able to destroy or take even more lives if we waste more time.”

“So are you suggesting that the adventurer guild should take this to their own hands. If that is your plan I'm afraid that wouldn't be enough if the beast really had babies.”

“Then why don't we also hire mercenaries, you know they will do anything for money. Also, we could put up a request for help to the other guilds next to our town.”

“I have already put up the request to the other guild master near us. But only two have responded to me Ann Marie. Not only that but the adventurers they can spare isn't in the greatest quality and quantity. If we do hire mercenaries you do know well that they can leave the battle if they wanted to.”

Ann Marie crossed her arms and started to think as the guild master also copied her action. But in the end, both of them let out a sigh of disappointment.

“This is very frustrating, why does it have to appear near our area of responsibility. This is so annoying damn it!” The guild master spoke as he scratched his head in frustration.

“Master Mordor, isn't it weird that the beast has been awakened this early? I mean that beast should only be awake once a decade but, hasn't it been only three years since the beast has gone back to sleep. Somethings definitely not right about this thing master.”

Mordor then rubbed his long white beard in a downward motion and started to think. After a few seconds, Mordor spoke, “Now that you say it, it truly is strange for the beast to be awakened. ”

“So it means?”

“Someone or something might awaken the beast on purpose but the question is who? and why?”

“If that is the case, then shouldn't we investigate deeper about this beast, master Mordor?”

The guild master leaned toward his table and spoke, “This event is very dangerous, so we must also coordinate with the other guilds if we want to investigate. I don't want to risk anyone's life just to find out what caused this event, but working with other guilds would decrease the chances of danger.”

“We will also have a problem if we will not do anything about the beast, so set up an obligatory mission in the guild. Give it to Lora so she could post it the quest board.”

Ann Marie stood up and carried her axe and walk straight out of the door. Before Ann Marie closed the door of the guild master's office she spoke, “Then I shall do it right now.”

After Ann Marie left the guild master's office, master Mordor spoke to himself as he held his hands together. “Why do we have to face such a problem like this now, I'm too old for these problems I hope I can retire early.”

Lora who was busy entertaining some adventurers was suddenly interrupted by Ann Marie. Lora looked at Ann Marie who had the look of fierceness in her eyes.

“Lora put up an obligatory mission request from the guild master. I will tell you all about the details that need to be written. ”

“Is there a class gap for this request?”

“No, we need all the hands we can get so don't put any class gap in the quest. ”

“Ok then, please follow me to my office where I can note down the request and put it up tomorrow.”

Ann Marie then followed Lora to her office where they will discuss the obligatory request. The adventurers who were present in the guild looked at them with confused faces, especially the two dwarf adventurers Moriarty and Salem who was just near the counter drinking.

Both of these two were short and had long hairs and long beard that reached their chests. Moriarty had a chestnut colored hair with black eyes. Salem on the other hand had a black hair and black eyes.

One of those two adventurers spoke, “An obligatory request without any class gap. Then it must be serious but personally, I think we should definitely have a class gap, I actually don't wanna work with a lower class adventurer. What about you Moriarty”

One of his friends who was drinking booze put his wooden mug on the table. He then replied to what his friend spoke, “Yeah Salem, those lower-class adventurers are just a nuisance when in combat. But I would have them on the battlefield as cannon fodder to our enemies. ”

“Look Moriarty you are not wrong about that but I still see those weaklings as a nuisance. Now that we are talking about weak adventurers, haven't you heard about the new F-class adventurer who got the worst nickname from the female adventurers.”

“Oh! I heard about him, if I remember correctly the nickname he was given was the FETISH PANTY HORNDOG THIEF!”

Moriarty also gave the nickname he heard, “ I think it was HORNDOG SCUM OF LEORA.”

“Well, he's not getting any good impression among female adventurers. But to tell you the truth that F class guy is kinda giving off some kind of a dangerous vibe,” spoke Salem

“Nah! You're just scared of his size and voice, this HORNDOG SCUM OF LEORA is just an F class newbie. He's just all about his size and scary voice but he got no skill. So why are you feeling something dangerous about him Salem, after you say that you don't wanna work with low-class adventurers.”

Salem then replied to Moriarty, “Working with low-class adventurers is completely off-topic about the dangerous vibe that the HORNDOG SCUM gives off.”

Moriarty who was already intoxicated yelled to Salem who was also drunk, “I DON'T CARE ABOUT THAT F-CLASS ADVENTURER, IF HIS F-CLASS IT MEANS HIS A NEWBIE, IT ALSO MEANS HIS WEAK!.”

“I think you are too drunk to talk about this topic. Let's change, have you heard about the black fire adventurer party?”

“Nah! I don't care about those self-entitled adventurer thugs who only likes to prey on the weak and steal their money. Goodness, how were they even able to pass as adventurers,” spoke Moriarty as he orders another mug of booze.

“Well, you might be happy about this one then.”

“Then what about those punks!?”

“Actually yesterday, three of their party members including their leader were found critically injured on an alleyway. Their leader had multiple bones broken, while his subordinate also had the same injury. The other one on the other hand, had a crushed skull, I heard he was punched by someone who had a massive fist. Also, the two other members who survived skipped town yesterday. ”

Moriarty then spoke his opinion after hearing Salem, “Then good, that's one less self-entitled punk in this town. I wouldn't even call them adventurers, especially what they do, which is stealing from other adventurers who are weaker than them, maybe the reason why they were killed was because of arrogance. ”

“Aren't you also arrogant about yourself, you wouldn't even acknowledge my intuition about horndog scum,” whispered Salem as he slowly drank his mug of booze.

“What was that Salem!?”

“Nothing!” said Salem with a smile on his face.

Meanwhile…

Why do I feel someone is talking weirdly about me? It's very uncomfortable but good thing I don't have any human senses, which is kinda weird. I guess I should be used to not having any human behavior.

Now its time to get back to my skill upgrade, which skill should I upgrade?Currently my skills status are these

SKILLS: CAMOUFLAGE LVL 1, STALK LVL 1, SNIPE LVL 3, ASSASSINATE LVL 1, SONAR LVL 1, GRENADE THROW VENGEANCE LVL 1, QUICK DRAW LVL 1

PASSIVE SKILLS: OVERPOWER LVL 4, CROWD CONTROL IMMUNITY LVL 1, ELECTRIC SHIELD LVL1.

The most useful skill base on my experience is Overpower, which is level 4, the next one is Snipe which is level 3, the third would be Quick Draw which is still level one.

Currently, I have 24 skill points that can be used for upgrade, I also have 5 skill evolution points which can be used for evolving max level skills or buying new skills in the shop. I kinda don't wanna use my evolution points while I don't have any max level skills. I guess I'm gonna spend more points on my three most used skills, but I will probably save some.

As I was checking my skill and status page I noticed something new which had left me surprise. I then read it loudly due to my ignorance.
