CHAPTER FOURTEEN On the Mediterranean coast twenty kilometers east of Málaga, Spain The next afternoon Remi rubbed gritty eyes as she and Daniel sat in the back of a Spanish police car. Just a few hours before, Detective Chief Inspector Gupta had tracked down Sergio Ramon-Diaz via the Spanish antiquities office, where citizens had to get permits to import ancient artifacts.
