The next week went by slowly as Spring break had ended and school was back in session. Brady and his wife Charlotte had found out their daughter had been seeing a boy that she and Katelyn had apparently been ogling for months. It explained why Kai had always insisted on sleepovers at Katelyn’s house rather than some sort of back and forth. Not that the Thompsons minded. They enjoyed what peace they could get from the turmoil of their children.
Tonight, Alex would be coming over for family dinner so Brady and Charlotte could get to know the one that seemed to keep their daughter in better spirits.
