“Sin, Dorian just linked me. He said they’re on their way home right now, with Mikey in tow,” I tell her. Ever since her fight earlier in the night with Mikey, she’s been on edge. Our wolves being connected made it hard for us to ignore when one of us was in mental and emotional distress.
“Why are you so worried, Sin? You apologized via mind-link,” Leah expressed her confusion.
“I know, it’s just that … Ugh! I hate that we fought like this. And it’s all because of me,” she stated while covering her face with her hands.
“Come on, Sk*nk; this isn’t the first time you guys have argued,” I tell her and hug her.
“No, but this is by far the biggest. It’s also the first time Mikey has ever left the packhouse to avoid me.”
