A Do Over

2173 Words

"Right this way Sir, Miss." A perfectly dressed elderly gentleman shows them into what Natalie thinks is the fanciest eatery she has ever been to. She stops in her tracks afraid to set foot inside the lavishly decorated place that's dimly lit, bringing out a very serene and romantic atmosphere. "Of all the places, why here? He could have just let me eat the food from the cafeteria." She takes a quick look around . The place is lined up with intricate rows and rows of tables that are covered with beautiful linen tablecloths. A sizable arrangement of fresh flowers has been placed on each table together with neatly folded napkins. Everything looks picture perfect and ready for its customers. She hesitates even more when she notices a few couples that are seated on some of the tables.
