Eric had been worried about Daisy all evening already. He had a hard time not going to her right away, or barging into that stupid party. However, he had kept his feelings in check until it was ten o'clock, and then he couldn't take it anymore.
Once he spotted her inside the shop on their way there, drinking all by herself, with her characteristic pink hair, he had wanted to hurry inside. Seeing Daisy so happy to see him was a bit reassuring, but it didn't explain why she had left the party so early. He took her arms off of his neck and grabbed her hand to take her outside the shop, as the clerk was giving worried glances towards his biker friends.
"Those are your friends?" Asked Daisy.
Her excited tone showed that, once again, she wasn't scared as most normal humans would have been by two dozen big bikes and their riders. The group was split between those who had gone to buy food from the little store and those who stayed outside, chatting loudly and watching the bikes. A lot of them reacted to Eric coming outside holding Daisy's hand.
"Oh, look at Eric! The boy's got a girlfriend!"
"Hello dearie! You need a ride?"
"Eric, better be a good guy with her!"
"Sweetie, kick his ass if he's mean to you!"
Daisy laughed and waved at them, but Eric rolled his eyes, and took her a bit away from the loud group, by the side of the road.
"Your friends are so nice!"
"Yeah, they are a bit too noisy too..."
"Are you a biker too?" She asked, excited.
"Daisy, I'm underage like you, remember? I'll get my license next year, but I was with them and they insisted to give me a ride when I told them I needed to go and check on an innocent little fairy in distress."
"I wasn't in distress! I even managed to kick someone in the chestnuts like you taught me!"
Eric chuckled, but he wasn't too amused to know it had gone that bad. He took out a cigarette and lit it up, shaking his head and looking at her. Daisy was even cuter than usual in this outfit... This was the first time he saw her wearing something else than their school uniform. The flower embroideries on her jeans and top suited her well. Moreover, thanks to her off-shoulder top, it was his first time seeing her fairy wings. He hadn't known what to expect, but Daisy's wings looked like giant dragonfly wings, transparent with pink and purple shades. At first, it looked a bit uncomfortable to walk around with because of their width, but Daisy retracted them whenever she had to go through some tinier space, and it seemed like they had some natural sensitivity as well, retracting as soon as they felt a foreign object.
"Alright, sweetheart, tell me what happened then."
While Daisy diligently told him everything that happened at the party, Eric only nodded from time to time, smoking his cigarette and listening carefully. He was half proud of her for standing up for herself and half angry at those bastards. It wasn't just because she was a fairy. That kind of i***t easily bullied girls into drinking at parties, but because she was a fairy, they thought they'd get away with it even more easily.
Eric was a bit surprised that what had apparently saddened Daisy the most was to be called a dumb fairy again. She was on the verge of tears when she told him that. He sighed.
"Daisy, no crying for idiots."
"I know, but they were so mean... I really hated it."
"I know, sweetheart. He deserved that kick in the chestnuts."
Daisy nodded, convinced of it too. She felt a bit better now that Eric had shown up, but that'd stay a bittersweet experience for her. She wrapped her arms around herself, a bit defeated. Eric sighed, finishing his cigarette and putting the cigarette butt in the packet, a habit he had picked up because of her. Then, he took off his biker jacket, and put it on her shoulders. Daisy's wings retracted immediately, but the young fairy's eyes were riveted on the jacket.
"It's a real biker jacket!" She exclaimed, excited.
"Yeah, the guys gave it to me for my last birthday, since for the next one I'll be getting my biker license."
Daisy was obviously so excited about wearing it on her shoulders. It was so heavy, too! She kept looking at all the badges and the custom patches on it.
"This is so cool... and so warm, too!" She exclaimed, excited. "Is your mom a biker too?"
Eric was surprised that she would ask that. Most people, knowing his mom was a cop, would have asked if she was okay with it, but Daisy didn't think like that at all. He chuckled and nodded.
"Yeah, she's got her own jacket and all. She doesn't ride much these days, though, she's too busy. This gang helped her a lot when she was younger... She became one of them when she was younger than I am now. She became a cop to help them, too."
"Oh, that explains why you know them!"
"I've known them all my life."
Daisy nodded, excited. She kept looking at the jacket, even comparing them with the others, and noticed they had their names embroidered at the back, with the name of their gang, too. She took off Eric's jacket briefly to check his. She was a bit surprised, but put it back on right away, as she was indeed cold.
"Baby Boy?" She said, amused.
"Yep."
"This is so cute!"
Eric sighed. Of course, Daisy would find it cute too. Well, he was used to that nickname by now, the gang had been calling him that his whole life. They waited a couple more minutes together for everyone to be ready to go, and some of the guys turned to Eric.
"So, what shall we do, Eric? Shall we go say hi?" Said one of them with a snicker.
Eric, nodded, taking Daisy's hand to get her to go to the bikes.
"Let's just salute them from afar, guys," he said, pulling Daisy towards one of the bickers. "That guy is Teddy Bear, you can go behind him.
"Hi, Teddy Bear!"
"Hello, sweetheart! So, you're Eric's little girlfriend? Nice to meet you!"
"I don't think I'm his girlfriend," replied Daisy in all honesty. "But I would like to be! He's teaching me lots of things!"
All the bikers who had seen their passionate kiss from earlier and heard that turned to Eric with suspicious looks, making him roll his eyes as he was helping Daisy put her helmet on.
"About humans, Daisy. I'm teaching you things about humans! Be precise, or I'll get my ass kicked for real here."
"Oh, okay!"
The bikers laughed, and once the two teenagers were both seated with their helmets on, they all left the parking, heading to the house where the party was held. When they arrived, Daisy got a bit anxious about being there again. However, the bikers didn't stop. They only started making an awful ruckus with their bikes, honking and making all of their machines roar loudly. Some whistled and waved, but it was already plenty enough to get the teenagers' attention. A lot of Daisy's classmates were staring at the bunch of bikers driving in circles in front of the house, completely astonished. They were even more surprised when they noticed the Fairy, with her pink hair, wearing a biker's jacket, and riding behind one of them! A fairy hanging with bikers! All of the party guests came out to the lawn to watch, a bit worried.
Unlike Daisy, those kids were a bit afraid of a bunch of bikers making a racket in front of the house. Moreover, the noise was bound to annoy the neighbors, and the police might even show up!
Behind Teddy Bear, Daisy was having a lot of fun! She felt incredibly safe, in the middle of the bikers, with Eric sitting on another bike close to her. The noise from all the bikes was awfully loud, but it was muffled a bit by the helmet. She laughed, even long after the bikers had left from the street the house was at.
They left the residential lot, heading back towards the City. Daisy was amazed by how nice a bike ride was. The group rode over a bridge and in the streets for a long time, before stopping on the river's bench, in a big empty parking lot. Eric got off first and helped Daisy down, finding his fairy all smiling with her rosy cheeks.
"That was so much fun! Thank you, Teddy Bear!" She said, handing him the helmet back.
"Any time, young Lady!"
Daisy smiled at him and throttled to Eric's side. The bikers said goodbye to Eric and left in a ruckus, Daisy waving happily until they were out of sight.
They had left the two teenagers not too far from their residential area, but it would be a nice walk by the riverside from there. They both started walking at a slow pace. It wasn't too cold, but Daisy was keeping the jacket tight around her shoulders. Her long wings were hanging down underneath, their length going as low as her mid-thighs. They seemed to flutter with the wind from time to time as if they were about to raise up. Eric noticed, too, and decide to be the one to ask questions, for once.
"Doesn't it hurt? To keep your wings down?"
"Hm, not now," said Daisy. "This is a natural resting position for me. It's hard to keep them inside my uniform, though, there isn't much space so I have to keep them squeezed in my clothes all day, it's really uncomfortable..."
"Why don't you let them out like today?"
"Our uniform isn't practical..."
"Just make holes in it," suggested Eric, shrugging.
"Can we do that?" She asked, surprised.
"Just do it if you like it better. It's for your wings, too, it's not like that uniform was made thinking of fairies. If it's uncomfortable, just do change it. No one will blame you."
"Oh..."
Daisy had tried so hard to blend into her school, she hadn't thought she could do that. It would be a big relief, actually. It didn't seem like it, but her wings were like a cat's tail. She could struggle with her balance if she couldn't use them properly, and more than a few times, she stumbled in the corridors or almost hit doors because she couldn't judge distances correctly. She remembered Eric's ragged uniform. Indeed, it looked like he didn't care much about making holes in it. Daisy decided she would poke holes into her uniform the very next day!
They walked a bit longer, and Daisy kept sending glances at Eric's hand. She wanted to take it, like he had done earlier. Would it be okay if she did? She bit her lower lip, hesitating.
"What is it?" Finally asked Eric, feeling her eyes on him.
"...Can I hold your hand?" She asked shyly.
He chuckled.
"What? After being so bold earlier, you're feeling all shy now? You don't usually ask permission."
Daisy blushed, even more, looking down. She hadn't expected Eric to reply to her kiss before, so now, she was a bit confused about all this. She remembered the lecture he gave her about consent and everything. She wasn't sure she could just act as she wanted now...
"Daisy," he gently called out to her.
"Is it okay if I take your hand, then?"
"Why wouldn't it be okay?"
"I realize... I didn't really ask your permission to kiss you... And you might dislike it..."
Eric was rendered speechless. His words made her reflect on her attitude only now? What had happened to her confidence from earlier? Nevertheless, he found her hesitation incredibly cute once again. Daisy was fidgeting like a little puppy scared to be scolded. He sighed and held out his hand to her.
"Daisy, if I didn't like kissing you, I wouldn't have answered your kiss earlier. I'm not exactly a defenseless boy, sweetheart."
Right away, her face beamed again, as she raised her head up, excited.
"So you didn't hate it?" She asked as if she needed more confirmation from him.
Eric chuckled and held out his hand for her to take. Daisy smiled wide, and almost jumped on it, only too happy to finally hold his hand. Eric sighed internally. He really had no resistance when it came to her.
They kept walking, slowly. Daisy was so happy, she kept smiling and looking down at their locked hands, their fingers crossed with each other. She loved the feeling of Eric's warm hand around hers. The young fairy was so happy, she couldn't repress her smiles. It was contagious, as Eric smiled too, seeing her naive and happy expression.
"Are you really that happy?" He asked.
"Yes! I was scared you would say no, and find me clingy again..."
"You're clingy."
Daisy immediately went back to her sad puppy expression, making him chuckle. He kissed her forehead.
"It's okay. I'm getting used to your clinginess. It's kinda cute."
"I don't want to be called clingy, though..."
"Why not?"
Daisy hesitated, then turned to him with a serious expression.
"Eric, I really, really like you. You're okay with kissing, so..."
"Daisy, no."
"But I haven't asked yet!"
Eric sighed.
"You're going to ask me to have s*x with you again, aren't you?"
The young fairy pouted, giving away her answer. Eric noticed she wasn't letting go of his arm, though. He shook his head.
"I'm not going to have s*x with you just because you want to."
"Why not!"
"We should go out first."
Daisy literally stopped walking, shocked. She turned to Eric, her eyes open so wide in surprise, he found her stunned expression adorable. She stayed speechless for a few seconds, looking like she couldn't believe it.
"...Really?" She asked in a little voice. "You want to go out with me? On dates? And we can hold hands and kiss?"
Eric nodded.
"I can be your girlfriend?"
"Unless you changed your mind..."
"Eric! I love you!"
He had not planned for her to suddenly jump to his neck. Daisy was actually so excited that she made him tumble back, all her weight on him. Eric fell on his butt with a groan, but she wouldn't let go of his neck.
"s**t, Daisy, calm down..."
"I can't! I'm too happy!"
He could see that. She was smiling widely, holding him tight, and even her wings were flapping in excitement, as his jacket had fallen to the ground. Eric sighed, wrapping his arms around her waist, waiting for the fairy to calm down. That girl was really too unpredictable... She had defeated him with just this.
Suddenly, Daisy stood on her arms, staring at him with such a serious expression again that Eric was taken by surprise.
"You're not going to change your mind, are you?" She asked, almost severe.
"Who knows? Not all relationships work out after some dating. Maybe you'll be the one who gets tired of me."
"I won't! I definitely won't!" She protested, upset.
"I won't stop fighting, either."
"It's okay if I don't look! I really promise I won't look!"
"I won't come to High School more because of you, either. I hate school and I like ditching."
Daisy pouted a bit. Truth was, she was a bit looking forward to hanging out with him at school, like the girls in her class did with their boyfriends...
"It's okay..." She said, but a little less convinced this time. "But we can have s*x, now, right?"
Eric sighed. There was probably no other fairy as excited about having s*x as Daisy was... Or so obsessed with him.
"Not right away. Let's sort out the dating first. I don't want to sleep with you if we break up in a month."
"Why not! You're so..."
"Stubborn?" Finished Eric, raising an eyebrow.
Daisy made her cute pout for a while, then she took a deep breath.
"Fine, but tell me when we can have s*x then!"
"What?"
"After a month, if we don't break up, it's fine, right?"
"You're asking me to hold on with no s*x for a month?" Eric said, being the one unhappy this time.
"But I'm your girlfriend now!" Daisy protested. "You can't go to other girls for s*x! I'm the one you must have s*x with! I'll really hate it if you have s*x with other girls than me!"
Eric hesitated for a second. Her problem was not about him cheating on her, but missing her occasion to have s*x with him...? He sighed, closing his eyes and resting his head on the grass. Daisy wasn't satisfied with his silence, however.
"Eric!"
"Stop shouting, you little perv fairy. I promise I won't cheat. You better not, either."
"Of course not!"
"Alright, then after three dates."
"Three dates? We are going on dates?" Asked Daisy, excited again.
"Yeah, and if you're not bored with me by then, we can have sex."
"Yay! Can we go on a date now? Or tomorrow? I really, really want to have a date with you now!"
Before he could even answer, Daisy kissed him, putting an end to that strange conversation. Eric sighed again, internally this time, as he was just as busy kissing his new girlfriend. There was no way he was going to hold on for a full month, anyway. Not with this dangerous little fairy assaulting him on any occasion she got...
