Ariel POV
I slammed the door to my room shut, I didn't go down for dinner for the fear that I might die in embarrassment. I couldn't help but imagine different scenarios in my head.
Thank goodness, the novel is still with me, that's the only comfort saving me from the loud growling of my stomach. I slowly placed my hands on my stomach which was growling loudly. It seemed like my stomach will stop at nothing until it finally gets some food stuffed down there.
"Maybe you should sing to it?" my subconscious mocked me and I said nothing in my defense. What if that was it, out of no where I started humming sweet melodies but that didn't work out too.
