As the days passed, Marley focused on work, but that didn’t stop her from thinking about Von. Even her mom had commented on how distracted Marley had been during Sunday’s family dinner. Though Madison had sent a Call him text later that night, she’d thankfully remained quiet during the meal.
More than once, Marley picked up the phone to call Von but didn’t.
