CHAPTER THIRTEEN Sunday afternoon, a knock sounded on Marley’s door. She wasn’t expecting anyone, but Madison and Rory or Mikey sometimes stopped by on the way to their parents’ house. Especially when they wanted to carpool to their family dinner. No one called ahead of time. Marley’s siblings expected her to be home. If not at work, she usually was. Well, except for last night.
