Third Person's Point of View HER eyes were settled to the glass wall and gawking the city. She was in their department and since she already did her work, she has time to take a rest.               A genuine smile curved on her lips as she reminisced the moments where Gavin treating her nice and special.                           Ayana and Gavin were sitting under the tree. They were inside the university. They ditched their class and decided to rest together there.                           Gavin leaned his head on Ayana’s lap. Ayana ignored the feeling of an explosion inside her heart and just acted normal as if she didn’t give any malicious meaning of Gavin’s act.   She doesn’t notice that she already fell in love with him. Gavin was so caring. Besides his looks, she fell in love with his attitude.   “Do you want to spend your summer with me, Ayana? We’ll be going to America and I want you to come with us, please?” Gavin looked at her eyes. It seems like he’s hypnotizing her to agree to his favor.               Gavin wants to spend his summer with her! She can’t explain the happiness whirling inside her. Actually, she was about to ask him if they can travel alone. Just the both of them. But Gavin asked her first.               “I’ll think about it.” She acted as if she’s really thinking. Gavin got up from her lap and frowned.               He leveled his head on her and because of that, their faces were just inches away from each other. She tried to distance herself from him, but Gavin keeps leaning forward towards her face. She’s now trapped between the tree trunk and Gavin.               “You don’t want to go with me? I thought you always want to see me?” Gavin’s face turns somber. His gaze looked down on her lips.   She was gasping for air as she escaped from Gavin’s trap. If she let him stare and near at her like that, her heart was going to explode now. Add the sensation every time Gavin looked at her lips.   “Yes, I don’t want to be with you. I want to go with someone else.” She was teasing her. It was not true. He’s the only one she wants to be with.   Gavin pouted. She bit her lower lips to surpass her laugh. He’s so cute.   Resentment was visible on Gavin’s lips as he got his bag. “Fine! Go with someone else!”  He was about to walk out but Ayana stopped him. A loud laugh escaped from her lips as she grabbed his hands to make him stay.   “Are you mad?” She was still teasing him. Gavin frowned even more and pulled his hand away from her.   “Of course I’m not. Why would I?!” His voice was full of hatred. Yes, he was mad.   A genuine smile curved on her lips. She leaned herself on his forearm and Gavin enveloped her right away.   “I’m just kidding. Even though you didn’t ask me, I’m still going with you, Gavin.” Her eyes looked with him. His stare was something unexplainable. It was suffocating and melting, yet here she was, loving him, so much… so bad.   They don’t know what the real relationship between them. But they want to keep each other. They treated each other special.   Ayana didn’t notice that she was already smiling but it faded away when she remembered the bad treatment of Gavin to her now. Their relationship was so different now from before.   She stops reminiscing her moments with Gavin when Mica went into her cubicle.   “Ayana?”   She raised her head and saw Mica. She walks over to her and sat down on her table, smiling.   “Why?” She confusedly asked.   “I went to the toilet and when I was walking to the hallway, I suddenly bumped the CEO’s secretary.” Mica rolled her eyes and crossed her arms under her chest. “The soup that she was holding smashed on the floor and now she ordered me to buy another soup for the CEO! Like duhhh! It was an accident. I didn’t do it intentionally. She even yelled at me!” Mica reddened because of anger.   “Why she bought soup for Mr. de la Vega?” She asked. Worriedness suddenly appeared in her eyes. Is her husband sick?    “I heard from her that Mr. de la Vega is sick but he insisted to go to the company and do his works.” Mica was still pouting.   She can’t deny that she’s still a concern to her husband. Even though they fought again last night and he throws hurtful words to her, she’s still in love with him. Call her martyr but she can’t dictate her own heart.   “Did you already buy soup?”   “Not ye—”   “Good. Let me buy the soup for your behalf.” She immediately stands up. Even though Mica was confusedly looking at her and she murmured something, she just ignored it and finally went out from their department. She used the elevator and went to the cafeteria.   She bought soup and some medicines for her husband. She used the elevator again to go to the office of Gavin. She knocked three times in her husband’s office. But no one answered her that’s why she decided to come inside.   Her heart suddenly melted when she saw Gavin leaning on his swivel chair and his eyes were close. She can feel his tiredness. She went on his place and checked his temperature but Gavin immediately pushed her hand away when he realized that it was her.   “What are you doing here? Get out.” He emotionlessly said.   She insisted to stay there to take care of her husband. Even though Gavin was always maltreated her, she still can’t remove and forget her feelings for him. Call her martyr but she’s just in love.   “Eat this soup and take medicine after.” She commanded but Gavin just glared at her and doesn’t bother to eat the soup she bought.   “I said get out.” He grimly said. She can feel the anger on his voice but she still insisted to stay there. She opened the soup and gently stirred it.   “You need to take medicine to feel better.” She placed the spoon in front of his mouth but Gavin pushed her hand away again the reason why the spoon that she was holding dropped on the floor. Her lips slightly parted. She just took a deep breath. “I will get another spoon.”   She went to the kitchen inside his office. When she already got a spoon, she went back to her place. Gavin was just glaring at her. His jaw was clenching and she can see the anger in his eyes but she acted as if she doesn’t affect. She just wants to take care of her husband.   “Do you really want me to drag you outside, huh? I said get out before I can hold my anger!” Gavin grimly said as his jaw was clenching.   For the nth time, she acted normal again and was about to give him a soup but Gavin harshly pushed her away again the reason why the soup spilled in her. Her lips formed a letter ‘o’. She can feel the hotness of the soup that now covering her dress.   She felt the pain again. She just wants to take care of Gavin but why is he acting like she’s the dirtiest person in the world? Is it really hard to love her back?   The moment she met the eyes of Gavin, pain, and sorrow suddenly flashed on her eyes. Her throat tightened and her eyes began to burn. Tears were not far away and she didn’t want Gavin to see her break down.   “Get lost before I drag you.” Gavin’s last statement before he finally closed his eyes and massaged his temple. He’s not even affected by what he did to her.   Before her tears burst out, she immediately went out in his office. Tears streamed down her tears as she was inside the elevator. Thank Gog because she’s the only one who’s in there. The elevator opened and she went to her department to get her things. Her officemates asked her what happened because the soup stain was still visible on her dress. She didn’t entertain their questions; instead, she immediately went out in the company and drove her car.   She doesn’t want anyone to see her crying.  Like before, she’s the only one who knows the pain she was bearing. She should be familiar with the feeling but every time Gavin treated her like nobody, it seems like it was a new emotion she never felt before.   “How to unlove you, Gavin? How?!” She desperately asked to herself.
