AYANA went out from her car the moment she reached their home and Gavin waited for her in the living room. He looked hard at her but he continued to stare for several seconds, trying to hide what looked like an expression of intense anger.
She was about to go upstairs but Gavin stopped her. She turned around to face him with a tired look.
“How did you know Asher?” The angry response was instant, his voice thundering with such rage.
“He’s your cousin. What’s wrong—”
Gavin cuts her off. “I never introduced him to you. How come you already know him?!” She became puzzled by the tone of his question.
She can’t find any wrong about knowing Asher. He is Gavin’s cousin, what’s wrong about that? Why is it so big deal to her husband?
