THERE was a full minute of silence until they entered their house. She can’t believe Gavin kissed her.
She went upstairs and was about to go inside her room but Gavin grabbed her hand and pushed her against the wall. She tried to escape but he even held her tighter. A trembling began inside Ayana.
“Are you out of your mind, Ayana?” He closed their gap. “How could you set a dinner date with that f*****g asshole?!” He blows out a deep sigh, a glimmer of condescension flickered in his eyes. “What’s your relationship with him?”
