The morning after

Jayda opens one eye as she feels someone moving next to her. She feels like going back to sleep, but her eyes fly open, and she feels what is lying behind her with one hand. It feels like a human lying behind her, and she hopes it is one of her girlfriends and that she only dreamed about what happened last night. She sneaks a peek at the person behind her and blushes as she sees it is Jason, and as she looks around the room, she knows it is not her room. Surely, she did not come to Jason's apartment and throw herself at him. She told him to walk around naked, and she kissed him and took her dress off while sitting on his lap! How will she ever look Jason in the eyes again? Jayda wants to get up slowly and sneak out before Jason wakes up, but he is holding her closely, and Jayda is too afraid to move as she is afraid to wake Jason up. Jayda panics as she does not know what to do. Jayda is shy about what she did last night. Finally, she decides to lay still and pretend that she is still sleeping until Jason needs to go to the bathroom. Once he is in the bathroom, she will slip out and pretend it never happened. She will never be able to face Jason again. She even remembers pulling him into bed with her and telling him that she missed him. "Oh my gosh, Jayda Casella, what did you do last night? Tell the man you crushed on for so long that he is sexy, should walk around naked, and that you missed him. Damn, you stripped for him!" Jayda says. She feels Jason moves again and closes her eyes fast. She even slows her breathing and pretends to sleep. Jason knows Jayda is awake as he feels her move, and he holds her closer to him. He wants to see if she meant what she said last night about missing him, and he will not let her get away with it that easily. Jason hears someone at his front door. Unfortunately, the only person who knows the PIN code for his front door is Victoria Ward. That damn woman! Today is the day he throws her out of his apartment for good! Before Jason could do anything, Victoria opened his bedroom door and walked in. She is busy taking her coat off when she sees Jason is not alone. "Jason! What the hell is going on here!" Victoria shouts. Jayda is so shocked when she hears a woman shouting she wants to hide and pulls the blanket over her head. Jason looks up at Victoria and calmly tells her to keep it down. "My girlfriend is still sleeping, Victoria. What are you doing here? I told you a long time ago we are only friends and it does not permit you to walk into my house as you like. Get the f**k out, or I will call the security to remove you!" Jason whispers. "Your girlfriend! Who the hell is she? Is she the tramp from next door?" Victoria says. Jayda sits up and looks at Victoria. Who the hell does this woman think she is to call her a tramp? She might have acted like one last night, but she is not a tramp. Besides, she was drunk and did not know what she was doing. Jayda thinks to herself. "Who is a tramp? You? What are you doing in my boyfriend's apartment this time of the morning?" Jayda asks. Jayda does not know who is more surprised by her questions, Victoria, Jason or herself. "You b***h! How dare you seduce Jason! He is mine! You w***e!" Victoria screams. "I am not yours, Victoria, and you know it. We were friends, but our friendship just ended." Jason says. "All because of this w***e who seduced you!" Victoria screams. Jayda has had enough of Victoria. She jumps out of bed and walks toward Victoria. She is angry, and her head is hurting, and she can not avoid Jason now, all because of this b***h! Jayda does not even realise she only has a t-shirt and underwear on and jumps out of bed. She grabs Victoria by her jacket collar and drags her to the front door. She throws Victoria out of the apartment, and in the process, Victoria's coat opens up, revealing her lingerie. The paparazzi are always following Victoria, and a few of them sneak up to Jason's apartment with her. They take photos of Victoria in her lingerie and the angry girl in a long t-shirt, obviously belonging to Jason, throwing her out of Jason's apartment. Jayda, as she sees the paparazzi and camera flashes going off, freezes for a moment before Jason, dressed in sweatpants, grabs her into his arms and makes sure the paparazzi get a few photos of them. "Get lost, Victoria! I told you we are only friends a million times, but we are not even friends anymore as of today. Besides, you insulted my girl, and I do not like it." Jason says before closing the door. Jayda blushes and can not look Jason in the eye. She looks down. Her dress is no longer on the couch, and she wonders where it is. Jason wants to laugh as he sees Jayda blushing and looking around to see if she can see her dress. "It is in the wash." Jason says. "Oh, about last night, I was drunk, and I did not mean what I said." Jayda says. She is still not looking at Jason. "Really? So you do not like me kissing you and do not think I should walk around naked? Did you at least miss me?" Jason teases Jayda. Jayda is now as red as a tomato and does not know where to look. "My head hurts. I was drunk." Jayda says. "I will make our coffee and breakfast." Jason says, still smiling. "I want to go home." Jayda says. "Well, if you want to face the paparazzi outside, you can go home." Jason says. He knows Jayda is shy about last night, but he likes teasing her. Jayda looks like she is about to cry. He walks over to her and takes her chin in his hand. He makes her look up and into his eyes. "Jayda, honey, listen to me. You have nothing to feel ashamed about. We all got drunk at one stage in our lives, and we all did stupid things. I did not take advantage of you as I am a gentleman and will never take advantage of a girl who had a few glasses of wine." Jason says. "I know you did not take advantage of me, or I would have hurt. I am a doctor, you know." Jayda says, not realising she just told Jason she is still a virgin. "You saved yourself for me?" Jason asks. "What? No! I did not mean that." Jayda says, blushing again. Jason looks at Jayda and knows she lies, but he will never tell her. "Oh really, what about your boyfriend in Germany? Was he happy not to have s*x?" Jason asks. "I do not have a boyfriend. I only had friends, but what does that have to do with you?" Jayda asks. "Let's get breakfast before your brother comes and beats me to death for sleeping with their sister after seeing this morning's news." Jason says. "Oh, s**t! I forgot about that. I better call my dad, mom, and brothers and explain everything." Jayda says. Jason borrows her his phone, and Jayda calls her dad first. "We are so happy you and Jason found each other, baby girl. We knew a long time ago you were in love and hoped that one day you would fall in love." Her dad says before Jayda can explain anything. "About that, dad..." Jayda tries to explain, but Jennie grabs the phone from Dante. "I am so happy! I will start planning the wedding. I know you might not be in a hurry to get married yet, but I can still start planning in the meantime. Go be with Jason." Jennie says. Jayda is speechless. She thought her dad and mom would be furious because she spent the night at Jason's place, but they were ready for a wedding! She looks at Jason, who is busy making breakfast and coffee. Jennie hangs up before Jayda can say anything. Jayda looks at the phone like a snake about to bite her. "Are your parents angry?" Jason asks. He knows who Dante is, and he does not want to be on his wrong side. "No, they are planning our wedding." Jayda says, looking like she is about to pass out. "Our what?" Jason asks. He wants to laugh, but looking at Jayda's face, he is unsure if it will be safe for him to laugh. "Our wedding! My mom is crazy." Jayda says as she goes and sits on the couch. Jason decides to try and keep his face straight as Jayda is upset and might throw him out into the hallway as she did with Victoria. Jayda looks at the headline on social media and sees herself in Jason's arms, standing at the door in his arms. Another headline read Victoria's Secret, showing a photo of Victoria standing in her lingerie in the hallway. "Well, it is catchy." Jayda thinks. "Breakfast is ready." Jason says. Jayda walks over to the kitchen counter and takes a seat. She feels awful, and her head is hurting. Jason hands her some pills, and she swallows them with her coffee. "It will help with the hangover." Jason says. "I wish it could rewind time and make me not drink that much wine last night." Jayda says. Jayden calls Jason. "Hi bro, I always knew you and Jayda were meant to be together. So I got a great deal on an engagement ring I know Jayda will love." Jayden says. "I think you should all give us time to get to know each other again." Jason tries to calm Jayden down. "Bullshit, the two of you already spent a night together. So you are not using my sister, are you?" Jayden asks. "No, not at all." Jason says. "So you are planning on marrying her, now that the whole world knows you spent the night together, right?" Jayden asks, sounding like a real Mafia Boss. "Of course." Jason says. "Good. Then you better get a ring on her finger fast." Jayden says, and Jason feels like he is pushed into a corner. "Who was that?" Jayda asks. "Jayden, he wants me to get a ring on your finger fast or else." Jason says. Jayda feels guilty. She feels like she got Jason in a position where the poor man does not want to be. "It is all my fault. I am so sorry for dragging you into a situation you don't want to be in." Jayda says. Jason frowns. He likes the situation he is in, but her does not dare to tell Jayda that. "Listen, Jayda. We are in it together. I could have woken you up and let you tell me your code to your flat, but I was concerned that you might get sick during the night and hyours." Jason says. Jayda looks at him and frowns. "You are just trying to make me feel better like you always did when we were children." Jayda says. "Jayda, stop it! I do not see you as a child anymore. We are both adults and what happened, happened. Now eat your bloody breakfast and stop worrying." Jason says. He is getting angry as he wants to kiss her, hold her and make her his, but he dares not touch her now as she is upset. "Fine!" Jayda says. "Great, now come over here." Jason says. Jayda looks at him suspiciously. "Why?" She asks. "Because I will call security to remove the paparazzi, but on one condition." Jason says. "What is the condition?" Jayda asks. Jason is out of patience and walks over to Jayda, pulls her up from the couch, and looks her in the eyes. "I want a kiss." Jason says and pulls Jayda into his arms. He has to know if Jayda has feelings for him, which is the only way to find out. Jason holds her in his arms, and before Jayda can protest, Jason's lips are on hers, and Jayda can not resist his passionate kiss. Jason pulls away as he feels himself losing control and let her go. "Hmm, that is all I wanted to know." Jason says before calling security to get the paparazzi removed. "What do you mean?" Jayda asks. "You are not immune to my kisses, babe." Jason says, and he has to duck quickly as Jayda throws her empty cup at him. "Asshole." Jayda says, and she storms out as soon as she hears the security removing the paparazzi. Jason laughs softly as he catches the cup she threw at him and looks at her leaving. He knows she is his and that the world knows it now. She can run, but she can not hide from their love for each other.
