“Oh she’s gone,” said Max as he looks around. “When will she stop doing that,” Max added as he threw himself to his bed still excited. “Oh mehn, I am so down,” he said with a yawn.
Around noon, Philip stood beside Max's bed and started calling out to him, “Max! Max wake up!” Stretching himself on the bed, he yawned as he glanced at Philip, “What the hell are you doing here mehn?” “Dude today is Saturday and we are supposed to be kicking it hard,” said Philip. “Why are you even still in bed by this time?” Philip asked as he dragged Max out from the bed.
“Take it easy mehn,” said Max as he landed his butt on the floor. “What type of purse is this?” Philip asked as he picks up the purse given to Max by Jasmine. On opening it he exclaimed with mixed feelings and curiosity. Dude! Where the hell did you get these diamonds?” Philip asked with curiosity. “It’s a gift,” Max replied as he stands to his feet. “You are kidding right?” Philip said staring at the diamonds. “No I am not,” Max replied as he took the purse away from Philip.
“No one can easily gift you diamonds worth billions of dollars,” said Philip. “Where was your ass last night dude?” Philip asked with his eyes on Max. “My ass was saving your ass last night when you were drunk,” Max replied as he makes his way to his bathroom. Following him, Philip said, “Dude, did you robe anywhere last night?” Philip asked as he gave Max a weird look. “You want us to hang out or not?” Max replied as he shuts the door of the bathroom against Philip.
After taken his bath he returned to his room to dress up, “You better stop drinking as you do,” said Max to Philip. “Why not?” Philip replied with his hands spread. “It’s fun,” he added. “No, it’s affecting your head and how can you even defend a client when your head is not right?” Max said as he walks straight to his wardrobe. “The good thing is that I am not yet called to bar,” Philip chuckles. “That’s why you are always visiting bars to drink and if you continue that way, you won’t be called to bar as a lawyer,” Max rashes at Philip.
After dressing up, Max walked up to Philip, holding him by the shoulder, he said, “Dude I love you but you better not get drunk today or I will leave your ass there.” “No you won’t do that,” Philip replied. “What are friends for?” he added. “I bet you have sobered up from last night because you are driving,” said Max as he handed his car key to Philip.
“What’s up with the sunglasses again?” Philip asked on seeing Max putting on the sunglasses. “Don’t hate,” Max smiled as he leads the way out.
To Max’s greatest surprise, Philip drove straight to a pizza shop. Staring him so weird with his sunglasses on, Max couldn’t help but ask, “Dude, what’s this place?” “Perhaps you could remove your sunglasses if it’s preventing you from reading the signpost,” Philip jokingly replied. “Dude, I can see clearly and that’s why I am asking you. What is this place?” Max replied.
“If you are seeing clearly, I bet you won’t be asking because this is a pizza shop bro,” Philip replied wearing smiles. “So, what are we doing in a pizza shop?” Max asked with curiosity. “It’s time I change my ways. So I am taking your advice and saying no to getting drunk. Today we are hanging out in a pizza shop,” Philip said as he made his way out from the car. “Oh boy!” Max exclaimed. “This is kind of weird,” Max said as he opens the door of the car.
“You first!” said Philip as he gave Max a smile. Suddenly Max’s head begins to hurt, with his hands on his head he yelled in pain, muttering, “Make it stop.” “What’s wrong dude?” Philip asked with curiosity. “Make what stop?” Philip asked as he started approaching Max.
Seeing Max restless as he continues screaming in pain, Philip became troubled that he brought out his phone to call for an ambulance. Max held his hand, with a deep voice he said, “Take me home!” “Oh s**t!” Philip exclaimed in fear. “Your voice sounds creepy,” said Philip. “You got to take me home now!” Max said in the same deep and weird tone. “Dude you can’t get well staying home,” Philip said. “Let me take you to the hospital,” Philip added. “If you are my friend, trust me on this,” said Max in his normal voice as he staggered into his car.
Driving straight to the garage, Philip helped Max out as he led him to his room, “You can remove the sunglasses now,” said Philip as he took the sunglasses off. “No!” Max yelled with his eyes closed. “Give it back now!” he said as he stretches his hand towards Philip. “Dude, you are acting strange. What’s wrong?” Philip replied.
“I will hold unto this one now,” said Philip as he drops the sunglasses on the table next to Max's bed. “I need to put it on,” Max replied. “No one sleeps with sunglasses,” Philip replied as he sat beside Max. “You need some rest dude,” he added.
Noticing Max’s black vein, Philip exclaimed, “Oh s**t! What the hell is wrong with you mehn. Your veins are black!” “What!” Max exclaimed as he unconsciously opened his eyes to check his body. “Oh f**k!” Philip exclaimed in fear as he quickly got up from Max’s bed on seeing Max’s black eyes.
“What the hell is wrong with you?” Philip asked with curiosity as he stood afar. “You have nothing to worry about,” Max replied with a sad look. “I have everything to worry about. When my best buddy suddenly has black eyes, I got to freak out,” said Philip. “I know that mehn, but you got to trust me,” Max said.
“I am still your best friend,” said Max. “With goddamned black eyes!” Philip yelled. “I get it,” Max replied. “If you are scared of me, maybe you should go and let me handle this myself,” said Max to his friend Philip. “f**k you Max,” Philip said. “We are doing this together. Whatever you got yourself into, I am f*****g behind you,” said Philip.
