Meet Up

“Oh crap!” the man exclaimed again seeing the bullets had no effect on Max as he quickly skedaddled in fear. Max however began staring at his body but to his greatest surprise, he was sound and okay. Looking around in surprise, he noticed no one was watching, he quickly picked up his sunglass and hopped into his car.

Driving through his garage he quickly rushed out of his car and headed straight to his kitchen. He took his kitchen knife and places it on his soft skin; cutting himself with the sharp knife, and the knife bent, “f**k me!” he exclaimed in total disbelief and picked up yet another knife.

“What are you doing?” Jasmine asked from behind as she quickly took the knife from Max. “Stop sneaking up on me like that,” said Max. “You almost gave me a heart attack,” Max added. “You need to come with me,” Jasmine said. “Come with you to where?” Max asked with curiosity. “Wait a minute, how did you get in here?” Max asked as he fixes his eyes on Jasmine. “I found my way in,” Jasmine replied. “So will you come with me or not?” Jasmine asked. “Where are we going?” Max asked with curiosity. “I want you to meet someone,” Jasmine replied, stretching her hands toward Max.

“Oh s**t!” Max exclaimed as he suddenly appeared with Jasmine in a well-decorated castle of gold and diamond. “Where the hell is this place?” Max asked as he gazes at the beauty. “This is the place I call home,” Jasmine replied. “How the hell did we get here within a twinkling of an eye?” Max asked with curiosity. “There is a lot you don’t know about me,” Jasmine replied. “But first I want you to meet people so dear to me,” Jasmine said.

As Max and Jasmine were still talking, some men started walking out to meet with Max, “Who are there?” Max asked Jasmine in a low tone. “They are family,” Jasmine replied. As the men were drawing closer, Max noticed they all had black eyes, “Oh s**t!” he exclaimed in fear. “Where the hell am I?” he asked looking around. “You have nothing to fear,” Jasmine said as she held Max by the hand to calm him down. “They are not here to hurt you,” Jasmine added.

“He must be the one?” said one of the men known as Azul. “Yes Azul,” Jasmine replied with a nod. “You are welcome,” said Azul as he approaches Max for a handshake. “I am Azul the demon head,” he said. On hearing this, Max was gripped in fear and spellbound as he turned and asked Jasmine in a very low tone, “What does he mean he is a demon head?”

“We are not humans,” Jasmine replied. “We are demons and have lived for eons,” Jasmine added. “You f*****g kidding me right?” Max asked with curiosity. “I am not kidding,” Jasmine replied. “I f*****g had s*x with a demon?” Max asked with total dismay as he became restless. “Oh I am dead,” he added as he fell to his knees.

“What’s wrong with him?” one of the demons known as Zeo asked. “He will be fine,” said Jasmine as she quickly helped Max up. “Please don’t kill me,” Max pleaded in fear. “No one is going to kill you,” Jasmine replied. “You are one of us now,” said Zeo.

Fixing his eyes on Jasmine, Max asked, “What does he mean by that?” Does it mean I am now a demon?” Max added. “Somehow your body absorbs my black crystal and that’s why there has been a constant change in your body,” Jasmine narrates. “Come with me,” Azul cuts in. “Let’s show you something,” Azul added.

Getting to the rooftop of the castle, Azul pushed Max down from its edge, “Why did you do that for?” Jasmine asked Azul as she frowns at him. “We should show him more of his new him,” said Azul as he disappeared.

Appearing where Max has fallen, he helped Max up as Max stretched himself saying, “That was so evil of you, you almost killed me!” “You have nothing to fear now. You can manifest any power you wish to,” said Azul. “I am getting the hell out of here,” said Max as he turned to leave, Zeo blocked him. “You wanna stop me or what?” Max asked. “No, but if you go, you won’t find out the secrets of the power you carry,” Zeo replied.

Taking Max to a temple called the dooms temple, they all sat down in a circle, “When Jasmine told us she lost her black crystal, we realized it’s the beginning of the new dawn,” said Azul. “New dawn for what?” Max asked with curiosity.

“Your newly found ability is the key to our freedom,” said Zeo. “This means you are our savior,” Zeo added. “I still don’t get it,” Max replied. “After Lucifer was hauled down, we decided not to walk in his paths,” Jasmine cuts in. “We are the only few demons left on earth,” Jasmine added. “With your newly found ability, you can open a pathway for us to unite with the prince of the demons,” said Azul.

“Wait a minute,” said Max as he stands to his feet. “I have no s**t to do with all these shits y'all talking about,” Max added. “You have a lot to do,” said Azul. “Like hell I have,” said Max as he frowns at them with his hands folded. “I will be glad if this power will be taken away from me,” Max demanded. “We can’t do that,” Jasmine cuts in. “This is what we have been waiting for and we can’t throw that away. You bear the mark of a savior and with the black crystal in you, you will take us to paradise by unlocking the pathway for us,” Jasmine narrates.

“My whole life has been a mess and here I am to save demons,” said Max. “This is crazy,” Max added. “You have the key now in you,” said Jasmine as she approaches Max. “Will you help us?” Jasmine asked sternly. “I don’t know, I have to think about this,” Max replied. “There is nothing to think about,” Zeo said. “You don’t know the amount of power under your control,” said Zeo with his eyes fixed on Max.

“I will help you guys,” Max replied. “I am doing this for Jasmine,” Max added as he glances at Jasmine with a smile. “Thank you, Max,” Jasmine replied putting up a smile.

“Prepare for the ritual,” Azul said in a loud voice calling out all the demons in the castle. “Wait a minute,” said Max with a shocking look on his face. “What ritual are you talking about?” Max asked sternly. “The marriage ritual with Jasmine,” said Zeo. “You must be united with her,” Azul cuts in. “What!” Max exclaimed as he started drawing back. “We never talked about marriage,” Max added. “You have no choice,” said Zeo. “You must marry Jasmine and that’s the only way you can be united with us and fulfill your path to lead us to paradise,” Zeo added.

“Oh hell no!” said Max in a loud voice. “Oh hell yeah!” Azul cuts in as he ordered the demon's blade. “What’s that blade for?” Max asked with curiosity mixed with fear. “The blade is for your blood,” Jasmine replied. “What!” Max exclaimed as he turned around to skedaddle.
