RUBI'S POV
The next morning, Hector and I got in the limousine all packed and ready to move into his penthouse.
I said my goodbyes to grandma Elena and Rose the maid. Apart from them, the only other person that cares about me in that house is Santiago, my father-in-law. He’s been nothing but good to me. When I asked for him, I was told he went early to work this morning.
The driver placed our luggage in the car. Hector walked pass me and got into the car closing the door after him, he hadn’t uttered a single word to me the whole day. I sighed and walked over to the other side of the vehicle door, the driver got to it before me and opened the car door for me. I got in and he closed the door.
Once we were settled inside the car, the driver started the engine and the car purred to life. S
