My desk was scattered with heaps of papers. In the last couple of weeks, I haven’t even touched a border report or any other report. It wasn’t that my work was behind Xavier and Gamma David had gone through the reports and informed me about any issues.
But this wasn’t why I had come to work; I needed to read through a contract that involved my family.
