Chapter 14:
Doyle wasn’t sure he ever wanted to visit New York City again. When he returned to San Francisco, he planned to sit down with Carl and have a long discussion about the women in his family.
The trip to deliver the tooth fairy at the university took almost no time. Doyle was sure Grace had brought the creature to the train station in an attempt to impress him. He could unequivocally say he was not impressed. There was friction between the two.
Jack didn’t need to shrink them down to mouse size. There was something about the experience—Doyle was certain the inner workings of his digestive system wouldn’t function properly for several weeks.
