I went home the next morning with the biggest smile on my face. Last night was perfect. I had to sneak in the house, they probably didn't even notice that I wasn't home. I showered and got ready for school, I was excited to see my mate. When I arrived at school I spoke to my brother and was looking around for Liam.

"Have you seen Liam?" I asked my brother.

"He's at home not feeling good. Why?"

"Just asking." I shrugged.

The day went by slow, only because I wanted to see Liam. I spent half of the day daydreaming about him, he was so handsome. I left school on my lunch break to go surprise him.

When I opened his bedroom door my heart dropped. He was in bed with his girlfriend. I couldn't believe him, just last night I was in that bed and now he's with someone else. He said that he would break up with her. Well he said a lot of things, I'm assuming they were all lies.

"Eww close the door you freak!" She yelled.

"Liam?" Is all I could say. I was ready to break down, he kissed her and told her he would call her later. She got dressed and smirked at me while walking out of the door.

"Why would you do this Liam? I thought that you loved me." He laughed in my face.

"Just because you're my mate doesn't mean that I want you. I mean seriously look at you, everything you said about yourself was true. Who would want you?" He said in a cold tone.

I can't believe him, where's the sweet mate I had yesterday?

"Why would you do this? You're my mate!" I yelled.

"I just wanted s*x. I wanted to see how it felt, everyone says that s*x with your mate is the best! I couldn't pass up that opportunity. Now get over here Kitten and let me show you how to pleasure your mate." He must have been out of his mind! To say I was furious was an understatement

"ARE YOU CRAZY YOU JUST SLEPT WITH SOMEONE. I AM NOT GOING ANYWHERE NEAR YOU OR THAT DIRTY BED!"

His eyes turned black, I guess it was a bad idea to scream at an Alpha.

"YOU WILL DO AS I SAY! I'M YOUR ALPHA NOW GET OVER HERE!" I jumped at his harsh tone. I wanted to fight it but I couldn't, he went all Alpha mode on me. Man this sucks, why does my mate have to be douche.

"That was wonderful Kitten, good job. Now go get cleaned up before the others get home and don't tell anyone about us being mates." I nodded and went to take a shower.

I broke down as soon as I shut the door. I must have been in the shower for a while because he banged on the door telling me to hurry the hell up. I quickly washed up, got dressed and went home. I went to my room and cried some more. Someone knocked on the door I wiped my tears.

"Who is it?" John opened the door without my permission.

"Anna I know that something's wrong." I sighed in defeat. I could never lie to John, he knew me so well.

"Come in."

"What's wrong baby girl you can talk to me."

"I found my mate he's an ass." My brother looked shocked. One because I found my mate and second because I hardly ever cursed.

"Who is it? What did he do? Tell me I'll kill him." He was angry, my parents didn't pay much attention to me so John was all I really had. He was there for me when I had my first period. He was freaking out as much as I was. My mom didn't help, she threw me a pack of pads and left out of my room.

"It's ok John, I can handle it. Thanks for caring."

"Are you sure you're ok?"

"Yes I'm fine. I'm going to do my homework and go to bed." He kissed my head and left. I did my homework, cried again and went to sleep thinking about why my mate would treat me like this.

I dragged myself out of the bed and went to the bathroom to get ready for the day. I looked in the mirror and gasped I looked like a zombie. I had bags under my eyes and they were bloodshot from crying all night. I showered and got dressed.

"Anna hurry we're going to be late." John yelled.

"Coming!" I ran to his car, he was already waiting singing along to a girly song.

"Your such a dork big brother." It was nice to laugh.

"But you love me, now put on your seatbelt and don't think I don't realize that you haven't slept. I still see the bags under your eyes, maybe you should stay home today." It was a good idea but I loved school and wouldn't miss a day unless I had to. School would be a good way to get my mind off of him.

"I'm fine, I'll just stay away from my mate and my day will go by smoothly." Boy was I wrong.

People did bully me but would do it on the low because they were scared of my brother. I wasn't going to tell him, I didn't want him to worry more than he already does. I went to my locker and got my book, I loved math but I dreaded going because my mate is in that class. I'm a smarty pants so I skipped a grade. I'm in the 12th instead of the 11th grade.

I sat down in the back like always. I was reading when I smelled my mate. I looked up to see him walking in with that slut, they were hugging and kissing acting like a couple so in love. He looked at me and smirked, that i***t! I want to hate him but my stupid wolf won't let me.

Because he's our mate.

Our mate doesn't love us. Look how he treats me. That shut her up.

The day went by slow and uneventful until lunch time. I had a piercing pain in my chest, I fell to the ground with people calling my name. I squeezed my eyes shut in pain.

"Anna what's wrong? Are you ok? Please say something." I couldn't breathe.

"M-My C-Chest, John I'm scared help me! Make it stop please." I said while crying.

He took me to the nurse since it was an all werewolf school we didn't have to worry about hiding things from each other.

"Help! My sister can't breathe." The nurse ran to my brother.

"Lay her down. Where does it hurt honey?" I gasped and managed to say my chest.

"Is it a pain shooting through your chest like you're being stabbed in the heart?" She asked.

"Yes." I answered out of breath.

"Have you found your mate?"

"Yes, why?" She gave me sympathetic look.

"He is having s*x with someone else and since you're his mate you can and will feel it anytime he does it." I didn't even cry, I knew he was a cheating asshole, but to do this knowing that I would feel the pain only made me hate him more. My brother punched the wall making me jump.

"Tell me who the hell he is Anna! You don't deserve this!" I wanted to tell him but I was under Alpha orders not to. And I knew John, he would try to fight Liam and that wouldn't end well.

"It's ok John I'm fine. When I see him I'll reject him, I can't do this every day." The nurse came back overhearing what I said.

"The pain from rejecting your mate will be ten times more painful, are you sure that you want to do that?" I already knew the answer, I wasn't going to go through this. I loved him but I had to.

"Yes I'm sure. Thank you for all of your help." She told me to go home and rest and to call the pack doctor if I needed anything.
