Anna

I didn’t even get a chance to go back to the pack house to tell my brother goodbye because Ace and Lance booked us the next flight back to their home, well our home. I was excited to see the guys I missed them so much.

“Wake up Anna we’re here.” I looked around and saw that everyone was getting off the plane. When we got inside I saw Keith holding a sign saying Anna. You could tell he made it, it was so cute.

“Keith!” I yelled running to him.

“ANNA! Please don’t leave again.” He said with tears in his eyes.

“I promise I will never leave you again, I missed you.” I said while kissing his cheek.

“I missed you too. I baked you some cookies.” He was so excited.

When we got to the pack house a lot of people greeted me, which made me nervous. I was on the way to my room when Ace stopped me.

“Where are you going?” He asked confused.

“To my room to take a shower.”

“You’re going the wrong way, we’re mates that means you are sleeping with me. We got all of your things from your apartment and brought them here.”

I nodded and went to take a shower, after I finished getting dressed I decided to go to the lake it was so beautiful. I sighed in relief, I was finally safe! No more looking over my shoulder, no more worrying about saying the wrong thing, and most importantly no more abuse. It's like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders.

“What the hell are you doing back I thought he got rid of you.” I turned around to see Trish standing there with four of her friends. God I did not feel like dealing with her so I just turned back around ignoring her.

“So now the rogue can’t speak.” She sneered.

“I don’t want any trouble just leave me alone.” I got up and tried walking around them but she grabbed my arm.

“Ace is my mate not yours and I will get him back even if that means getting rid of you.”

“In case you haven’t noticed I’m his mate, this mark on my neck proves it.” That made her mad, her face was priceless. It was so red I couldn’t help but smile knowing that I got to her.

“Now if you'll excuse me I’m going to see what MY mate is up to.” I walked around her. AGAIN she grabbed me but this time she pulled my hair.

“You listen you pathetic little girl, he’s mine leave now or I’ll make you.” She pushed me letting go of my hair.

I don’t know why I got so angry, I think it’s because she was trying to take my mate. If it was Liam I wouldn’t give a damn but we’re talking about Ace. He saved me from my poor excuse of a life and made me happy.

“I would like to see you try.” I said getting into her face. She laughed and slapped me. All of the memories of Liam abusing me came flooding back and my anger started to rise.

I punched her as hard as I could after hearing a crack and blood rushing from her nose. I smirked I finally stood up for myself. “Get that b***h!” She screamed.

I didn’t know how to fight so of course me fighting five people didn’t end well. I managed to get a couple of hits in before I went down.

Anna are you OK? Where are you? I can feel that you’re scared.

Ace help me! Yes I sounded like a child but I was being jumped here.

Where are you?

I’m at the lake.

Not even a minute later I heard paws hitting the ground then a loud growl. I looked up and saw Ace, his eyes were pitch black, he didn’t even care that he was naked.

“WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?” All of the girls looked terrified they looked at Trish for an answer.

“I WON'T ASK AGAIN.”

After Lance helped me up looking me over Trish answered.

“Baby she’s coming between us. We are mates, look what she did to my nose.” She said while touching his chest I growled at her.

“Nice shot Sweetie Pie.” Lance said while giving me a hi five.

Ace picked her up by her throat she was clawing at him. “I’VE TOLD YOU A HUNDRED TIMES THAT I DIDN’T WANT YOU AND YOU GO AND ATTACK MY MATE.”

“Lance do something he’s going to kill her.” He just stood there smiling while Ace was killing her.

“For goodness sake.” I said frustrated. I walked to Ace and grabbed his shoulders.

“Calm down Ace. I’m fine.” He turned and looked me.

“You’re not fine Anna, look at you! You have cuts and bruises you could barely walk to me. She knows the punishment for attacking a Luna.” I forgot about me being Luna. My eyes widened at the realization then it hit me the punishment is death.

“Ace please don’t do this. I couldn’t live knowing that five people died because of me. Can’t you lock them up or something.” He sighed.

“Fine Anna if that’s what you want. All of you are kicked out of this pack. Go get your things you have two hours to get out or I’ll kill you. Larry, Shawn make sure they leave this territory.” They took that time to start crying. I don't know why I felt sorry for them but I did. They probably wouldn't be able to see their families again.

“Ace you can’t do this I thought that you loved me what about our families.” I was feeling weak and dizzy, my head was killing me.

“YOU'RE TESTING MY PATIENCE NOW GO!” He turned to me.

“Baby are you ok?” I nodded yes. I didn’t want him to worry or to think I was weak. I was Luna now I needed to be strong.

“Anna I know when you’re lying, now tell me what hurts so I can get you to the doctor.” I sighed.

“Fine I think I have a broken rib.” He picked me up and carried me to our room a few minutes later the doctor came in.

Alpha, Luna.” She greeted.

“You can call me Anna.” I smiled and she smiled back.

I had two broken ribs and lots of cuts and bruises, those heels really can do a number on someone. She gave me painkillers and I slept the rest of the day it was night time when I woke up.

“How are you feeling?” I jumped he scared the hell out of me.

“I’m fine. Why are you sitting in the dark? You scared me.” He chuckled.

“Let’s get you some dinner.” We walked to kitchen Lance and the guys were eating, I swear they eat 10 times a day.

Shawn was eating my cookies that Keith made.“Hey those are mine.” He looked up and smiled I know that smile.

“Oopps.” He said then put the whole thing in his mouth.

“Pig.” I glared.

“You better leave her alone you saw what she did to Trish, I’m never making her mad.” I stuck my tongue out at him and ate my food.

That’s how it went the rest of the night all of us joking around. I never had this much fun I could never relax because I was always watching my back.

“Come on Anna time for bed.” I yawned.

“I’m not tired.” I pouted.

“Nice try, you can’t even hold your eyes open.” He carried me back to bed. It was nice sleeping next to him I felt protected I had the best sleep ever that night.
