Chapter 2At the sight of the last of the restaurant patrons standing at the bar ordering drinks, Armand dashed upstairs to the restaurant area. Lynda was the night’s restaurant manager and he greeted her with a wide smile. “When you’ve finished cleaning up here, can you spell me half an hour at the bar? I know I’ll be opening the place up tomorrow, but I’d at least like to have the tables ready for the champagne lunch.” “Sure.” Lynda waved a hand in the direction of the dining area. “The tables are clean so they’re all good to go. I just have the floor to brush and mop. I’ll put a few chairs along there as a barrier so patrons don’t wander into this area once it’s cleaned. It’s too early to stop them using the toilets up here.
