I honestly don't know how long Rhi was gone before I noticed. I had decided to go out and tend to my gardens, and the next thing I knew, the sun wasn't nearly as high and my stomach was growling. I knew that hours had passed.
I had figured I would give her enough time to wrap her head around being adopted, and now I was worried about her finding out she was a powerful werewolf. If she reacted the way she did to the extent of taking off, what would happen when she was dealt the rest? But, maybe I was handling this all wrong? Maybe I'm treating her too much like a child?
