I made it the shore where we were attacked. There was no sign of my friends anywhere and the townsfolk were walking around like nothing happened. I landed and started into the city looking for any clues.
I wandered around for a hour until my eyes landed on Felix's sword hanging in a weapons shop.
Anger enveloped me as I stomped on there and tore it off the shelf. I turned to leave when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I spun around, shoved the man against the wall, and pointed the blade to his neck. I ignored the sounds of the swords falling from the wall I knocked him into and glared only into his frightened eyes.
"You can't steal my merchandise," he coughed out.
"Steal? Like you stole this?" I asked.
"I didn't steal it! I boat it from a sailor!"
"Where?" I asked. When he didn't respond I pressed the sword closer to his throat, "where?!"
"A-at the dock! The ships long gone by now! He said...he said he was going to Almaun," he stuttered. I stepped away and lowered the sword and the man fell to his knees.
"I'm taking this," I said.
"But I paid good-"
"No! You know what kind of people come from Almaun are!" I said. Yeah, there were slave traders. Number 1 reason why I would never live near the coast.
I made it through the city and climbed on Jordan and we took to the sky and headed straight towards the giant body of water.
"We're coming," I muttered against the wind.

Jade glared down at the crowded ship. She watched Midnight circle above, looking like a lost puppy. His man was down there. Somewhere.
"What can we do? They aren't letting us get close and we can't blast it," Jasmine asked.
They were circling the sky above, too far for their weapons to hit them. Jade knew were this boat was going. Anger and hatred nearly engulfed her when she saw Felix being dragged away.
"We have to do something," Jade muttered.
"If only we could find out where Felix is," Jasmine said, "we need to find his quick so we can look for-"
"Sorry," Jade jumped as she heard a voice behind her. Midnight let out a roar as he circled the newcomers, "but it looks like I found you first. They have Felix?"
"Yes," Jade said with a proud smile on her face. Alaina smiled back at her but there was...a sadness there.
One that wasn't there before.
"So," Jade smiled, "what's the plan of attack, oh great leader?"
"Well," Alaina smiled as she glanced down at the boat, "we are going to need a sink the boat."
"What?" Jasmine and Jade asked at the same time.
"It'll distract them from us," Alaina said, "and give us time to get on board and find Felix before its too late. We can't face them head on. Their canons would hurt even the biggest dragon. That's what they were made for."
"It's...as good as a plan as we're going to get," Jade said with a shrug. She glanced at Jasmine who looked deep in thought.
"Who will do it?" Jasmine asked after a moment of thought.
"Jade," Alaina said, "will you do the honors?"
"Oh yes," Jade said as she whistled for Midnight as she dove for the ship.
Finally, she thought as she dodged canon balls and smiled as her dragon, and Midnight, unleashed their anger.
